Hi all,
Need a little help with trying to figure out how to either stop or distract my two-year old from his tantrums. Once he starts one it is really hard to get him to calm down, he normally screams for about 20-45 mins before starting to calm down but the smallest things set him off. I can normally see them coming but by that point it is already to late to distact him. I f anyone has any ideas that could help I would appreciate it. Thanks.

There's this girl I'm interested in, and things were going quite well, I was getting to know her pretty well and we talked like we were pretty good friends. Then, starting this week, she's totally ignored me in school, seems like she's extremely distant when I talk to her online, and you get the idea.

I'm contemplating giving up on her. I hate it when it feels like I've violated someone's space, and it seems like I've done it here. It's already hard for me to get comfortable around most girls in the first place.

All I really want is someone. It's not like, totally urgent, but well, I just want the feeling, for once.

Say a person is dieing on a street corner, a man walks by...really wants to help but can't. contemplates it, wants to do it but somehow isnt able to. Suddenly a man coincidently walks into this person dieing, even though he had no intention of helping him, but now that he's walked into him, he does help him. Its the Year of the Pig in the Lunar Calendar. I just read an article that Chinese immigrants in Islamic countries like Indonesia and Malaysia have to tone down their celebrations because the pig is considered unclean by Muslims. Doesn't this pose a quandary to the HUGE Muslim population of China?

There are 24 hours in a day. 8 of those are should be spent sleeping, The other 9 are usually used for work, and the last 7 are used for commute, family, breakfast and dinner.

People working 14 hour days drive me nuts. Here we are suffering terrible societal problems partly due to parrents not being home for their kids. When you work in the 2 hours for commutes either way, there is actually precious little time left for life.

What is your take on this?

I had to put my kitty to sleep this morning.He was fine last nite,but he could not walk this morning.We rushed him to the vet. She told me he had a blood clot & there wasnt anything they could do. I did that this morning.....I must have been so tired I turned off the alarm and went back to sleep.
I skipped the shower (ugh) and flew into my clothes. I broke land speed records, and got here only 10 minutes late.
