There are 24 hours in a day. 8 of those are should be spent sleeping, The other 9 are usually used for work, and the last 7 are used for commute, family, breakfast and dinner.

People working 14 hour days drive me nuts. Here we are suffering terrible societal problems partly due to parrents not being home for their kids. When you work in the 2 hours for commutes either way, there is actually precious little time left for life.

What is your take on this?

I think you've been working too hard. "Infringing" is the word you need! (no such word as "incringe!")

YOU need to take control and not work so much if that's the description of your life and views. Let people work 14 hours if that's what they want. One of my favorite quotes is, "When you're on your deathbed, you won't wish you had spent more time in the office."

I agree completely. I used to work 60-80 hours a week. My commute was only 15 minutes but I was usually at the office from 6:30 a.m. to 8 or 9 pm. The result: my life was meaningless. I had a shallow existence consumed with fake friends and a fake life. I nearly suffered a nervous breakdown at 29 doing this. I actually woke up one day and realized I was pissing my life away. I quit my job and took a job that pays less and was less prestigious to gain my life back. What did I learn? Life is priceless.

And what sins would you commit during this so-called precious time that you are missing?
