you tune into a radio station and listen to Spanish music, do you sit there and listen to it and maybe like the sound to it or do you think spanish music should be banned radio stations?

I don't really care for most Spanish music, but Shakira's all right. I prefer classical and rock.

I usually giggle a bit when radio stations are announcing in another language. Mostly becaue of my ignorance to the language - I guess.
Goodness no - it shouldn't be banned. I think it's probably a great way for the latino community (or chinese community or whatever) to get info and tap into their culture. Plus it's a good way for people who are trying to learn Spanish (or whatever language) to do it.
One time - when visiting Arizona - I took my clock radio along with me to make sure I would wake in time for a flight. I just chose the loudest station there was. When I got home - that place on the dial was a radio station called KSOL. Very hispanic - with some guy named El Cucuy as the morning host. I took Spanish in high school and college - but never used it (I lived in South Carolina then) so I SUCK at it. Still - I kept the radio tuned there for a few months. I would listen and try to figure out what they were talking about. I figured out a few things. It was fun. I ran around my house singing the theme to the morning radio show (something like) "Es la Cucuy de la manana!" - and drove my family crazy!
I also love mariachi music - whether I know what they are saying or not - so whenever that comes on my radio - I leave it for while.
I know this is probably way more info than you wanted - but I chose to share!

Well I'm Mixed (Hispanic n Black) and I Love Spanish Music!! Although My peers do not seem to take a great interest in it only if the song is "Hot"!!

i like some spanish music but most sounds like the same thing but i like it..it's cool my sister loves it she drives me crazy listening to 96.3

I'm thinking they need to get their own identity and stop STEALING from other nationalities...esp. Jamaicans and Haitians
