my exboyfriend and i broke up last month. after the break up we decided to be friends that still had sex. the day after valentines day he broke it off because he says that he startting to become attached to me. I still want to be with him in that way. I am being silly and holding on to a dream?

No, they're not!
I'm an adult, but thinking about the impact my stepmother had in my life still burns me up.

Hey, woman--just cos you married my Dad does NOT make you my mother or a parent!

I put up with so much **** from this woman just for my dad's sake---cos I knew it'd break his heart if he knew how I felt about her.

She's anal, nosy, controlling, & has my dad on a leash (sometimes I wonder if she does literally, behind closed doors!).

And since my real mother is dead, now when I have children of my own they will think this woman is their grandmother. That brings me to tears.

This woman has a large, annoying, dumb family, & for years we have been playing this stupid charade that all these people are my 'grandparents', 'aunts', 'uncles', and 'cousins'.

Listen, people--take marriage seriously. If you get divorced, fine, but when you do--if you remarry, remember that your new spouse is NOT & will NEVER be a parent to your kids! They already HAVE two REAL parents!

I am having really bad back pain in my middle back. I am going to a chiropractor and cant get back in there till next thursday. I was wondering if it is better to put ice or heat on my back to help the pain go away. Ive heard several different things and just want to see what is the best way to go about it. Anything would be helpful

And if given the chance again like she did at the "Hanoi Hilton" would she betray US soldiers causing them to be tortured? I'm just curious if she has ever apologized to the US soldiers she caused to be tortured by exposing the notes the soldiers tried to slip to her so their families would know they were alive. Just in case we end up with any soldiers captured and held alive so we know not to let her visit.

I have a 10 gallon tank. I,ve had it for 5 months. I have 10 fish, like fancy guppys and a black molly. I add water to it but I have not changed the water. I am worried I am not doing enough. My big black molly just got some white on one side of her. What is that?
I also have a bio wheel and a heater. And two dwarf frogs.

its a saturday night and i feel so alone, i have a problem with trust? i dont know if it gose back as far as my mother who was an alchocolic and neglected me? or did it happen after i was cheated on most of my life, i was in a relationship for 14 years and he got someone else pregnant when i was on the ivf treatment, i lost it all the treatment my home and his family, i did start dateing again but unfortunatly the second guy done the same he got my freind pregnant, and im afraid thats not all i did get married after that and he also got someone pregnant when i was with him, now i have such big concerns that it could be me? i dont know what to do but i dont want to carry on like this? i have stayed single for 5 years and just started dateing 3 months ago and my emotions are sad hurt and i cant even eat as my mind is thinking this guy im with is also doing it, tonight he said he is not well and i dont belive him as i have been going on at him this week that i dont trust him,

Ive never really owned my own Mac but I cannot stand windows anymore and im ready for a change. Im thinking about buying a used G4 466Mhz 512md RAM 30gb HD and OS X 10.4. I only use my computer for going on the internet and sometimes photo editing but other than that mostly internet based stuff. Would that be ok for a first time mac owner? Also what questions should I ask the seller.

We could be a much more powerful country if we didn't. On all kinds of shows, they show "funny" videos with people wasting food. Just last night on AFV, people were wasting milk. Milk, which they bought from factory farms. Factory farms! ASPCA should do something about that...

But I'm talking about food wasting, not factory farms.

Somewhere in Africa, there is a child dying of starvation. We have enough food to feed the world, and NO ONE would go hungry. At least, we would if Americans would stop wasting food!

This flippancy is going to destroy society in the future. Why doesn't anyone see this?

I'm an elementary education major and lately I've been hearing a lot about behavior management. Several of my instructors have mentioned ignoring bad behaviors and rewarding good behaviors from students. The reason for ignoring bad behaviors that they gave, was that many students are just looking for attention. My question is, how do you determine what kind of behaviors to ignore? Are there certain behaviors that you can't ignore?
