Depression is not something you take lightly, do you know how many suicides there are in Canada alone because someone choses not to take a pill!!! Thousands, we're losing innocent people to a decease which is no fault of their own! It could be a chemical imbalance in r brain. Did you build your brain with Lego's? No! The fact of the matter is & most importantly YOU MUST talk about this problem, there's a reason 4 your depression, as there was for mine and I'll spill my guts just for u
to see what therapy and a pill r 2 can do for you! It took me over
6 months to realize with my therapist & yes medication to learn that my biological father not only abused me, physically but also
sexually, so there I did that for YOU! I don't run around with a banner saying that it's something private to me. But ate at me 4
30 or more yrs. and with the chemical imbalance meds & my therapist I am able to go on. That was yrs. ago but I'm here and
comfronted you and hundred's of others for u to prove a point,
you don't have to be alone with this in your heart!
If you want to talk more freely & need advice where to go for help

Exercise can be really helpful for depression (because it releases "happy" hormones into the body)
A friend or mental health professional (depending on how serious your depression is) you can talk about how you feel and this may help you feel better. Also friends or counselors can be sounding boards to help you understand why you are depressed and figure out how to feel better.
Helping other people who have more problems than you is also another good way to feel better. It can help give you perspective on your life. And it feels good to help others.
Other things you can do- journaling or take up a hobby.
I've dealt with depression before, and it can be pretty hard. I hope you feel better.

Try to find the source of the depression, when did it start and what has caused it and only then can you find a solution and only then will it get better.
Exercise helps as it realises happy hormones which might alleviate some of the symptoms of depression.
Talk to friends and family and perhaps get in touch with an organisation such as MIND

see a doctor to get a full check-up to rule out any medical causes, see a licensed therapist for a proper diagnosis, exercise, eat a balanced diet, listen to music, read up on it. A Naturopath might be able to recommend various herbs as well.

First analyze what is the probable causes. Is it something you've done, if so you need to try rectifying to best of your ability. Is it someone else's doing you need to learn to accept it is indeed beyong your control and move on that you cannot change all things but you can certainly change your circumstances.
