And if given the chance again like she did at the "Hanoi Hilton" would she betray US soldiers causing them to be tortured? I'm just curious if she has ever apologized to the US soldiers she caused to be tortured by exposing the notes the soldiers tried to slip to her so their families would know they were alive. Just in case we end up with any soldiers captured and held alive so we know not to let her visit.

I see one or two of you say that either the story of the notes is either not true,or to get over it. Would anyone like to tell that to the soldiers she caused to get extreme torture,a couple who have debilitating problems to this day and a couple who can't get over it because they're dead. I asked because she is one of the people rearing her ugly head from the past over the Iraq issue and I want to know how someone who committed treason gets a say?

Hanoi Jane has been a Communist for over 40 years. Why should she change now? I think her appearance at the anti-war rally confirms she still hates America. Except, of course, when American suckers buy her garbage and make her rich. Does anyone really think that Commie would not betray American POWs again, if given the chance.
As for apologizing to the POWs she betrayed at the Hanoi Hilton, no she has not. She did give a half hearted statement of regret regarding her propaganda efforts on behalf of the VC, NVA, and the Commies in No. Vietnam. Was it real. History seems to indicate it was not.

Why don’t you explain how putting soldiers in illegal, immoral and stupid no-win situations supports out troops, protects our freedom, and is good for America?
When will you people grow up and act like adults? Vietnam and Iraq were losing propositions from the start, and every informed opinion pointed that out.
Ignorance and arrogance of the American voters, and conservative Christian and political leadership are the reason for the deaths on all sides of both conflicts.
Bush has sacrificed American blood on the altar of Bin-Laden for almost 4 years, and your position is to spill more. Bush and his supporters will ultimately be responsible for the deaths of 10s of millions of Americans. If allowed to continue unchecked, they will also destroy the nation. Or, was that your goal all along?

The notes story has long been debunked and she has apologized. A lot of people don't believe the war in Iraq (the one Fox News and Bush like to call the war on terror?) is about fighting for freedom.
