Let's face it Martha Stewart is the only famous person I can think of that went to jail. Shouldn't everyone have a fair trial regardless of their ability to pay for a good lawyer?

Maby the reason we have so many illegal immigrants is becuase they have to waite years and years for them to become 'legal'citizens if they do it the right way. So why doesn't the govt make legal immigration alot faster and easier? Then maby ppl would not mind coming here legally, and 'illegal' immigration would decrease?

The Democratic led House will pass a non-binding resloution saying they have no faith whatsoever that the troops will be able to do their jobs and they should all leave.

Do you think they terrorists will just post this resolution on their websites, or will they also make posters out of it for moral support and justification for their fight against America?

If Democrats had any integrity and conviction, they would vote to cut funding and make President Bush return the troops home. But since they have no conviction, they will just pass a piece of paper demoralizing our troops and emboldening the terrorists.

When my children were small I did a diploma in preprimary education and I know how important it is for that age group to learn and explore freely, without a stupid mom trying to force them to sit still and hold crayons and form letters! (Probably just to impress their friends with the phenomenal IQ of their offspring.) It's so important for them to spend a lot of time just playing, because it's their way of learning.

And as a primary school teacher I've seen the harm done by mothers who push their kids beyond their limits. Isn't the best thing you can do for your kid to let them grow and develop by supplying what they need, but also ACCEPTING what they are without forcing them into a mold?

My ex girlfriend broke up with me about a week ago. She told me at first that she needed some time to think because she wasn't sure about whether or not she loved me but then she broke up with me. I know she still cares about me but she won't asnwer her phone when I call and won't reply when I text her. I know that if we were to talk we could work things out. I don't know of anyone to recommend one. I looked in the local Yellow Pages but which one? Supposedly, I was displaced due to restructuring which is questionable. I was given a suspicious Separation Agreement and General Release of All Claims to sign. In this Agreement it states "do not sign without the advice of a lawyer". I was given a terrible severance package and told not to discuss it with anyone. I was given a cheezy, generic reference letter and was told "no phone calls for references". This is hurting my job search along with the fact that I am 55 years old. I was told my co-worker would be terminated in another week and now found out that she is being given special privileges because she was formally employed with the parent company and will be getting a different severance package because of that. Additionally, I had filed a workplace harassment complaint against 8 employees of the parent company on 12/03/06 and 2 months later find myself terminated. Suspicious?

I'm having pretty severe pain in my lower back, on the left side of my spine, and then down my leg. All signs point to a herniated disc. I'm not sure if I should just call my PCP or a chiropractor or an orthopedic doctor or what. I'm pretty sure whoever I do see will just give me an MRI and hopefully just physical therapy or something, but I want to make sure I go to the right kind of doctor.
