We have limits, and that is what people don't want, and come illegally for. They don't want to be told 'no' or 'your number isn't up yet because there is a line'. A lot of the 'delay' isn't due to processing but is due to limits. Lack of limits, like illegal immigration, would ruin our schools and services as illegal immigration is doing today. Our infrastructure just can't take unlimited numbers of poor kids who can't speak English and whose parents don't make enough money to cover their education costs through taxes.
I agree that if there were not so many illegals, the legal quotas might be relaxed. However, we are swamped, as it is.

Why should we make it easier? That seems to be the solution of so many of our problems in this world, we take the easy way out. That does nothing but pave the way for more people to look for an even easier way out. This procedure has been working for many years, so why should it be changed to benefit some because it is "easier"? By the way, it does not take years and years to do it legally. Oops, that is for most people it doesn't. The ones that it takes a longer time to be approved usually have a criminal background or they do not have the proper documentation that is needed to prove that they are who they say they are. We don't want them anyway. If we made it easier, they would still come illegally because they are coming here to make a quick buck without having to pay the taxes and still get the benefits for them and their family. If it was made easier, the companies that hire the illegals wouldn't hire them anymore because they would go to the skilled labour market and have better workers. The only reason that companies hire the illegals is because they can have slave labour at a cheaper rate and the illegals can't do anything about it. It sure isn't for their work ethics or productivity. If that was so, they would hire anyone off of the street that was legal and not worry about the Feds coming down on them at times.

Oh please pull your head out!!! the bill is ineffective the 1st element that needs to get finished is SEAL the border even with cost then we are able to deal with the activity stealing regulation breakers and take our u . s . lower back beginning with the grasping bastards who so willingly hire those people at decreased wages just to earnings a extra physically powerful earnings margin. in spite of everything the rich people are not people who's neighborhoods have become overun and ruined with trashy looking residences, rubbish interior the yards, and all over the streets, and we could no longer forget approximately the livestock interior the lower back yards.

Don't you know our government is for the people that haven't gotten here yet and those that have the balls to come illegally. While the "citizens in waiting" wait they have advantages of not paying income tax for many years, so if the gov. had any clue how to financially run this gov. it would speed up legal immigration if only for that fact. As far as the illegals coming because they don't want to wait in line, that is bunk, most of them crossing over are uneducated and have know clue how slack this gov is ran. If they were as organized in their own country they could change it and reep from their hard work in their own country, not steel from Americans who have given blood sweat and death and taxes for this country. It's a cold, bad feeling knowing your gov. cares more for criminals than it does it's own tax paying law abiding citizens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
