For millions of people, the service of occupational therapy is a lifeline. People of all ages receive it to help them participate in the activities of their daily lives. Sometimes people need occupational therapy to do things we take for granted, like getting dressed, being productive at school or work, eating unassisted, even socializing.

Occupational therapy doesn't just treat medical conditions, it helps people stay engaged in the activities that give them pleasure or a sense of purpose despite challenges.

Occupational therapists do this by helping people surmount their disabilities or medical conditions to do everyday things. The nature of the therapy depends on the individual and their environment; occupational therapists consider the whole person when developing a therapy plan. Occupational therapists collaborate with physicians and other professionals to assure a comprehensive approach. Children, for instance, sometimes have behavioral or developmental problems that limit their educational progress. Lawmakers believe occupational therapy is so important to the well-being of children, that federal law mandates that schools must offer occupational therapy to children who need it.

Occupational therapy is "outcome oriented," which means therapists help clients work toward achievable performance goals.

In rehabilitation clinics or hospitals, occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants help adults learn or regain skills that allow them to do meaningful things like working, driving, shopping, even preparing a meal. All types of people need this kind of help every day, from a worker injured on the job, to a grandparent recovering from surgery or a stroke.

Occupational therapy helps avoid health problems, and makes it easier to live with them. Consider our growing senior population; healthier people are living longer lives. Occupational therapy research proves that keeping people active and healthy as they age will not only improve occupational therapy programs focus on wellness and prevention to help seniors stay healthier and remain active in their own homes and communities. Trained therapists can make homes safer for people with reduced mobility and failing vision. occupational therapists can also teach seniors new driving techniques that will keep them behind the wheel longer and safer.

Occupational therapy addresses one of the most important aspects of rehabilitation and recovery: the return to a normal life.

Occupational therapy has its roots, a century ago, in helping war veterans return to life at home. These days, occupational therapists work in rehabilitation hospitals and on the front lines of combat. Some occupational therapy programs help soldiers recognize and relieve stress. In addition, occupational therapy helps soldiers learn to care for themselves after an injury, including caring for and using artificial limbs.

In recognition of all the ways occupational therapy contributes to society's well-being, April has been designated as Occupational Therapy Month.

To find an Occupational Therapy Month event in your area, contact jgreenblatt@aota.org. To find out more about occupational therapy and how it might help you, visit the American Occupational Therapy Association's Web site, http://www.aota.org. For a full menu of materials about occupational therapy and the ways it can help children and adults in work and leisure activities, and in response to specific medical conditions, see AOTA's free Consumer Tip Sheets, promoteot.org/CG_TipsForLiving.html.

The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) is one of the nation's oldest healthcare societies, representing nearly 35,000 occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and occupational therapy students who help people of all ages maximize their ability to function independently and accomplish the everyday things that allow them to participate in the activities and events that give their lives meaning. AOTA members work in practice, policy, research, and education. Nearly one third of all occupational therapists work in schools. A significant number work in hospitals and rehabilitation facilities, helping people recover from injury or illness. Other practice areas include mental health, driver rehabilitation, health promotion, low-vision therapy, aging in place, stress reduction, wellness, and ergonomics. AOTA serves its members and the public through advocacy, education, and publishing operations. AOTA also works to raise public awareness and understanding of occupational therapy

How to Become an Occupational Therapist, using my easy step-by-step system, without endless frustration

Dear Friend,

If you have to take the NBCOT Boards for Occupational Therapists, click here for information.

Are you interested in the only occupational therapist roadmap to success written by ACTUAL Allied Health Professionals. Our original research into how people become occupational therapists reveals specific weaknesses never before discovered that you can exploit to learn what you need to know to become a occupational therapist and more efficiently than you've ever imagined- and it's all available for less than the retail price of our competitor's products.

So, if you'd like to become a occupational therapist, to quit worrying about whether you can learn the information that is crucial to your application and to beat the interview game so you can get your dream career, then this might be the most important letter you read this year.

Now, I know you're probably skeptical. That's normal and healthy. Let me give you three good reasons we can back up what we claim:

Three Reasons To Believe What I Say

Reason one:

In case you don't already know me, my name is Peter Morrison and I'm the head of a team of Allied Health Professionals who set out to find and exploit the weaknesses of the occupational therapist application process and interview game. I have very strict standards for who gets to work on the team- ONLY top Allied Health Professionals were allowed to participate in the research. I demand the best for my customers, and only those who met my exacting standards made the cut.

My company’s name is Morrison Media LLC. We are the opposite of the fly-by-night outfits that are so common these days on the Internet.

We maintain a full time research staff, all of whom are nationally recognized experts in occupational therapy.

Reason two:

As the research team went to work, we were initially discouraged, since academic studies have revealed that most people do not really benefit from traditional learning guides and courses. But we knew there had to be a solution- if high performers were not getting hired and not learning what they need to know easily, there had to be a set of secret keys to the process that would help open the door for these superior performers.

A few days into the project, we started to have success to a degree that we never realistically expected. What we found was surprising, and in some cases so ridiculously simple that we wondered why others hadn't found them sooner.

We put our findings together in a thorough, concise occupational therapist roadmap for success that allows any prospective OT, at any skill level or understanding of occupational therapy, to become a Occupational Therapist with the necessary tools.

Reason three:

I created this product because I was sick of the options available to people who really wanted to become a occupational therapist. Most of the guides on the market are completely useless and horribly organized.

When I created this product, I wanted it be effective, easy-to-use, and affordable for everyone who needed my help. With current customer satisfaction rates hovering near 96%, I am very pleased with the results of our efforts- and I’d like to extend the same offer to you.

You're going to save time, money, and aggravation. You'll learn to avoid the mistakes and bad strategies that you've been vulnerable to. Just for starters, here are some ways our product can help you become a occupational therapist...

Warning: Do NOT buy any Occupational Therapist Guide
unless it meets the following 5 criteria

There is a lot of confusion surrounding becoming a occupational therapist. I want to give you 5 criteria or elements you absolutely, positively must have in any product you obtain:

One: It must be written by actual top health professionals. The blind cannot hope to lead the blind.

Two: It must be written in easy-to-use everyday language so everyone can access the information.

Three: It should be to-the-point, with no fluff to distract the reader from the truly urgent techniques and concepts that must be learned.

Four: It must motivate the reader to actually read it. If it's written like a textbook, reading is slow and painful, and will produce meager results.

Five: The guide must be guaranteed- if you don't become a OT, you get your money back- no questions asked.

You get at least 10 times your money's worth!

My healthcare consultants normally charge at least $50 an hour for one-on-one tutoring with new and prospective OTs. Before our product, this kind of information was reserved for people who could afford to hire these experts to help them get started in their new career.

These people would easily spend $500 over the course of a year to get this information taught to them. Make no mistake- you won't see this information anywhere else, because top healthcare consultants don't write 300-page manuals to sit on a stale bookstore shelf- top healthcare experts are out there raking it in as consultants. I was able to hire them at a handsome price, and I'm passing the information along to my customers at a fraction of the normal cost.

In summary, here's what you get:
