Unquestionably, Ron Howard's amazing "A Beautiful Mind". It was superbly crafted in all areas. I have always believed that to say you love someone, you need to know deep down that there is nothing that will prevent your loving that person and that you would do anything absolutely anything for them.
In this movie Russell Crowe portrayed John Nash beautifully, but the love shown Nash by his wife is the true beacon here.

Frank Capra's 'It's a Wonderful Life'
The story of a Man with the biggest heart in the world!
He has so much love for his family and the people of his town that he sacrifices his own dreams to help them
And then, when an accident means that he may loose his home and his wife and the homes of all the towns people, he is willing to sacrifice himself for the insurance money!
It's about so much more than romantic love - it's about kindness and love for your neighbour!
If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it - But watch it with a bottle of wine, a big box of chocolates and a few tissues.

An Officer and a Gentlemen. This is my favorite movie about love because not only two people fall in love in the movie, Richard Gere's character find the love for oneself.

"City of Angels"(1998) although I have not watched it for years.
"Angels are among us and when we feel an invisible presence, you better believe they are watching you.
For a Los Angeles heart surgeon named Maggie, that is too much of a stretch. She believes that it is her job to save the lifes of her patients and when she meets Seth after visiting hours are over, he tells her it's simply just their time to go.
She becomes intrigued by his presence and opinion. Seth is not just normal, he is an Angel. He meets Messinger while visiting patients.
Messinger can see him because he was once a Angel but gave his power up to become human. This makes Seth want to become human so he can feel, smell, and love Maggie."
Its a lovely story...and Nicohlas Cage and Meg Ryan both did a great performance in it too. Made me weepy!! ha ha

Probably Garden State, though 'love' is only indirectly one of the many themes within the film. Still I'd certainly recommend it!

TITANIC. Yeah, we all know it is about a ship, but I love the love between Jack and Rose. They seemed like they were really having fun, running around like kids the night it sank. I loved how they talked to each other. It didn't last long, but they were so perfect for each other.
