I have researched them and found most users are dissapointed with their performance (esp during low-flow applications) and that when they stop working (often) it is difficult to impossible to get any service.

The only advice I got was to get an expensive Japanese brand (ie Takagi) and spend the $$ up front rather than on the back end with repairs and replacements.

Surely there are some tankless users out there that have had positive experiences...??

He thinks it is my job alone to take care of the housework. He tells me that none of the kids he knows do as much or are expected to do as much as he is. I just basically want him to make his bed before he goes to school, toss his laundry in the hamper, help load the dishwasher after dinner. I really don't think it's asking a lot. There was a 3 day discussion over my 'Chores' list, not with me, but between my husband and stepson. I don't believe my husband ever had to do anything around the house when he was a kid, so it's all pretty foreign to him too. He does think he should help out more, but he thinks I should be the 'enforcer'. He just doesn't have time for it. Anyway I was just wondering if I'm expecting too much from my stepson, is there some kind of reward system I should try? Does anyone have any ideas? I'm a first time stepmom, I have no kids of my own, and I really don't want to be too hard on him. I don't want him to grow up and look back on his youth with anger.

I'm a college freshman. There is a girl I'm really interested in, but my concern is that we don't know each other very well. In fact, I've talked to her only twice. Valentine's Day is coming up soon, and I am worried if someone will try to "snatch her up" on that day. That would be more painful than rejection. I feel like giving her something on Wednesday, but the time just doesn't seem right. I need to get to know her more, and she should feel more comfortable with me. So I'm in a dilemma. I really don't want to lose her to some other dude because it took me great balls to break the ice, but simultaneously I don't wanna scare her off. Is it okay to give her a small V Day card? If yes, is it okay to write something like "you seem like a great person, and I would love to get to know you better. Happy V Day?" Or do you suggest I write something else? I need y'all's suggestions because I can't make a decision right now. I wanna make her day, but I don't wanna be 2 obvious that i like her.
