I ate SO well for about 2 months. Then ONE day I went to a birthday party and had a cheeseburger, french fries and a piece of cake. All hell broke loose and I fell back into my crappy eating slump and I can't seem to get back into the habit.

Valentines Day is tommorrow and I would like to get my mother something for valentines day and take it to her job on my break. I really won't have time to take her out to eat! what should i do?

Me and my gf had an argument over this. I feel kids should spend time with their parents until they are 7 or 8, may be homeshcool them till then. But she wants to send them to school when they are 4. Her Opinion is that we would spoil kids if we keep em home and they need to spend time with other kids. But why so young?
I've learned in my personal experience that when you send kids off so early, it damages the relationship between you and them as they dont get to spend time with you in their early days. shouldn't it be parents that spends most of hours time with them? or teachers n nannies?
goin to school is Imp.. But whats the right age?

The vet said that he was overweight and needed to lose a pound and a half, so we put him on a diet. We've been taunting him a bit, especially my husband, probably even more when I'm not home about what a fatty he is.

Do you think he now has an eating disorder?

Just last night, we found that he full force PUKED on the WALL! It is nasty. Never saw anything like that, I kid you not... on the WALL! Anyone else ever hear of a cat doing that?

are trying to decide on a name. I am not pregnant but we are trying. We have a boy name picked out but the girl is kind of been a challenge. I like Kaitlin and Lanie for first names. He used to like Kaitlin and not Lanie and now it is the other way around because he thought of a middle name he likes. I am afraid it is too masculine, opinions pease! Lanie Kile Pronounced like KYLE I just tried to change the spelling to make it more feminine. I like the way it sounds to I just don't want her too get picked on.

I am currently working for a Temp agency, and with a little research I discovered that the company that I'm contracted to work for would pay me 22% more if I were a direct employee!!
Isn't that ridiculous!
I understand that these temp/staffing agencies have to make money, but this is HIGHWAY ROBBERY!
After they find you the job, their work is DONE, why should they continue to get paid, months after they find you a job? They're getting more than what Uncle Sam is getting out of my paycheck!
Don't you think they should pass a law or something limiting their cut?

i have a 4 year old who makes me go through hell to get her to eat. she really eats next to nothing. my doc suggested vitamins which i give her but she is so picky. she weighs 13 kilos and is short ( my husband and myself are short too) doc tells me that all kids are fussy when it comes to eating. anyone else with my problem?
