i prefer unique one of a kind ie a plane carrying a banner or a newspaper add or perhaps the proposal in a fortune cookie way or maybe something simple like placing the engagment ring on your favroite pets collar or my favroite idea suprising u at work in my marine corp dress blues with a horse drawn carriage and adozen roses on bended knee

I have never proposed before, but when I do I want it to be something that she will remember for the rest of her life. I mean, if I plan on spending the rest of my life with this person, I want the moment I ask her to be very special. I would want it to be one of a kind. Since I have yet to meet this girl, I couldn't tell you how I would do it. I do know that I will do the down on one knee thing. My sister told me that the knee thing is a must.

I would go with unique!! My first marriage proposal was dull!! The next one has to be unique cuz if its not the marriage will be the same as the proposal was!

I've always thought the proposal on the sports stadium scoreboard was good. I also think the down on one knee is good too because it's sort of old school and alot of girls would like that.

Traditional ones stand the test on time, My husband asked my parents first and then surprised me at a romantic site down on one knee. It may not be original, but is something that I will remember forever.

Unique.
My girlfriend and I like to play football catch on the beach. When I proposed, I took a sharpie and wrote "will you marry me" on the football and proceeded to play catch. I've never laughed so hard in my life. She played catch for a good 10-15 minutes without ever looking at the ball. I finally had to throw it at the sand in front of her feet for her to notice it. She loved it. And I didn't have to embarrass myself in front of too many people.

Both. I want him to ask my dad and get on one knee and everything, but I want it to be somewhat unique. I want it to be a total surprise. SO, I have told all four of my very best friends how I would really like him to ask me and where so that if he asks any of them...he will get some really GOOD ideas. he he he!

I like the traditional romantic way. because alot of times guys arent good at unique and spontanious purposals. lol. It usually gets confused of what they like.
