are trying to decide on a name. I am not pregnant but we are trying. We have a boy name picked out but the girl is kind of been a challenge. I like Kaitlin and Lanie for first names. He used to like Kaitlin and not Lanie and now it is the other way around because he thought of a middle name he likes. I am afraid it is too masculine, opinions pease! Lanie Kile Pronounced like KYLE I just tried to change the spelling to make it more feminine. I like the way it sounds to I just don't want her too get picked on.

My children go to school with kids named Serendipity, Justice, Coby, Daylen, Kye (to rhyme w/ "eye"), Uniqua (Backyardigans, anyone?) and Tuesday.
Lanie Kile is an extremely normal name in comparison.
It's only fair that you consider names your husband likes, too. So many women have names for their kids all picked out by the time they're, like, 13 years old, without any regard to what the father likes or would like.
However, since you aren't even pregnant yet, name ideas will probably change at least, like, 20 times before the baby's born. :-)

Lanie is a nice name! My daughter is Liana...so pretty close :)
I thought up some different middle names that seem to flow pretty well, in case you were thinking of replacing Kile with something else.

Lanie Marie
Lanie Ellen
Lanie Kate
I personally like Lanie Kate.

Funny, you aren't even pregnant yet, what if it is a boy. I like Kaylin, good alternative to Kaitlin that so many people are using. Have a daughter named Layna. There ya go Layna Kaitlin or Kaitlin Layna, "it would go good with my last name"

The middle name doesn't really matter in all honestly...I mean who really uses it?
You will most likely change your mind a dozen times anyway. I know I had totally different names in mind before I got pregnant.

Well if you dont like Kile, then try Kylie or something like might make it more feminine. Or you could try Emily, its common but its really pretty.

I'd be honored if you used my confirmation name ... Judas. I know, I know, a little controversial, but really adds a kick to party discussions.
