I would go in and tell someone what I did. You never know when someone might have seen you or a camera might have seen you.

I actually did that last year at the gas station cause I didn't judge properly how close the other car was to me when I was backing up my van and I hit their SUV in the drivers door with my right fender.
The store clerk called the police and I stayed put and told what happened and we exchanged insurance information. It is a crime to flee the scene of an accident especially if someone was injured, but thankfully the driver of the car I hit was in the store. If no one was around to see it happen, I would wait for the owner to return to their car and if it took a long time I might leave my contact & insurance information under their wiper blade but there is always a possibility that that paper could blow away, get damaged or lost...so honestly I would feel uncomfortable about leaving and would not do it before calling the police so they could get my side of what happened and see our vehicles.

Confession time! I did that once.. I hit a yellow Corvette with my truck. There wasn't alot of damage.. but I bolted. To this day I still feel guilty as hell.

Put a note with my insurance details on the windscreen,I know that i would be the one who got caught if i didn't

I always assume I am being watched and i would do the right thing and tell someone what happened !

i would take pictures of the car and call my insurance comppany. but they may not do anything because "we" don't know the car who did it.just my opinion.

u guys are wack! id burn out and be gone.... its a tough world out there and its eat or be eaten.... so i cant pay for someone elses car cause i gotta eat
