When I watch a DVD, 9/10 times I can watch it without any trouble.

However on the odd occasion the screen will flick onto a blank screen and also the image will jump (as if someone was tampering with the scart lead). Somehow the TV switches from AV2 setting (which allows me to watch DVDs on) to a blank screen and then back to AV2.

I have never experienced this when using my old TV.

I don’t think that it’s the DVD disc itself as I have tried it on another DVD player and it works fine. Also, I have seen what happens when watching a DVD that has dirt on the disc and normally the pictures freezes and starts to pixelate. This in not the same interference I am seeing though.

I have cleaned the DVD player with a special DVD cleaner and also checked that the scart plugs are in properly.

I have filmed the problem so I can direct it to you through ‘YouTube’ so that you can see what I mean if you wish.

Any ideas?

I went on a date recently with a guy who was very nice, but I just didn't feel like we clicked on a romantic level. He called me the day after we had our date and I didn't know what to tell him, so I didn't pick up. He left me a voicemail asking me to call him back. The thing is, he was flirting with me on our date, so I know he will ask me to go out with him on a second date, but this is not something I want, though I don't know what to do. Should I call him back, should I wait for him to call me again, should I write him an email, or just ignore his calls? I don't want to be unkind about this, so how can I let him know that I don't want to go on a second date with him without hurting him?

I received a check and didn't noticed it was postdated. Of course, I took it to the bank and depostited it. Days later, I learned it didn't go through - and added $60 in fines. I tried to get the fines back from the check writer, but she just pointed out that I took it in too early. Can I ask the bank to waive some fees? Are they allowed to run the check through before the date on it? I know I didn't notice the date on the check, but I feel like the bank should have noticed, too.

funny joke about woman on train?
The only seat available on the train was directly adjacent to a well dressed middle aged French woman and the seat was being used by her dog.
The weary traveler asked, "Ma'am, please move your dog. I need that seat."
The French woman looked down her nose at the American, sniffed and said, You Americans. Your are such a rude class of people. Can't you see my little FiFi is using that seat?"
The American walked away, determined to find a place to rest, but after another trip down to the end of the train, found himself again facing the woman with the dog.
Again he asked, "Please, lady. May I sit there?". I'm very tired."
The French woman wrinkled her nose and snorted "You Americans! Not only are you rude, you are also arrogant....Imagine!"

I'm in a difficult living situation.Well, I moved in with a friend of mine who rented out one of his rooms to me.Our history has been that he has always pursued me.He gave me money, even when i refused, he has lent me cars when my car was broke down, he even gave my mother money, but I would tell him straight up I am not intrested in you..but he would just say I will wait for you..so recently things have gotten sort of hectice..he's been complaining about everything, from me parking my car into his driveway, to leaving a knife in the kitchen sink..so yesterday he calls a meeting with me,..and starts telling me that I am a liar, and he wants the car that I;ve been using back, and he wants the money that he's gave me back, and that if I live here that he wants me to wear a hat, beacause my hair gets on the floor,...and I told him I 'll just move out and he got all in my face...it was crazy..I never seen that side of him, and I think this is all due to the fact that a guy called for me on

This is my second pregnancy and my last. I go in at 6am. I'm a little nervous becuase I had alot of problems for my daughter. That was 6 years ago. I was told not to eat anything after midnight. Also they are putting me on ampicillin to treat for Strep B.

1. Would it be okay to eat a biscuit and orange juice or sprite prior to going in? I hate to be hungry through labor, but is that too heavy?

2. Can an enima the night before bring on labor that night?

3. Does demerol work better than nubaine for being induced? I had nubaine for my daughter's birth and I didn't find it that strong once they put me on Pitocin. It worked great for my own labor pains though. BTW, I will get the epidural, but until I get to 4 cms I need some pain relief. LOL

4. Do you know if they will treat me with the ampicillin a few hours before they start the pitocin? I read that the antibiotic needs to be in my system before labor starts.
