You will find out they bite too, closer you get tot he nest you will run into the protectors these are the ones that bite. They have a nest somewhere in your home. They like dark places. We had a colonies in a farm house we lived in.
They made a home in our attic. Along with the lady bugs they will attract there rivals who eat them, in other words more bugs.
Sell them (to a garden center or someone who has a green house) or kill them but I say get rid of them! Call in the bug people...

What kind of a problem are they creating? There is another strand of lady bug they have in the UK that is called the lady bird they look the same but are larger and they bite. If yours are biting they are lady birds and they have been known to swarm, if they are lady birds you may wish to call an exterminater, if not then just tell them to fly away home because their house is on fire (sorry that last bit is from a saying I was taught to say as a child when I saw a lady bug).
Here is a great site for any kind of bug problem or question: http://www.whatsthatbug.com/index.html

If they are Red their Lady Bugs, if they are Orange they are the Japanense version, and THEY BITE. They were brought here to get rid of another pest from japan, they didn't know it would become such a huge problem.

Without playing games, don’t be available 100% of the time or let your life be an open book. A man that comes on too strong or doesn’t have outside interests will scare a woman away just as much as it would if the circumstances were reversed. Read here http://AttractAnyWoman.emuy.info/?CY91
Women don’t want to feel as though they are completely responsible for your happiness and that is what it feels like when the other person has no outside interests. Men who are overeager or jump when the woman says jump are the ones who are more likely to end up in the friend zone. This doesn’t mean that you should play the game of not calling for a few days; it means that you should set healthy boundaries until you both naturally find a spot for the other in your lives.

You must be very luck (superstition, they bring luck). What indoor plants do you have? Could they be attracting them? Do your neighbors have the same problem (do you live in a migratory area?). A very interesting problem indeed. You could have your house sprayed, however they are such a beneficial insect to have around I'd hate to see you kill them.
Do you grow alot of roses? They are aphid eaters. I used to buy them and have them shipped to me to keep my roses healthy!

We had them one year to!! I agree, I love them when there is 1, but not 25 crawling on the floor...not cute! Good luck, they just went away on their own, never to be seen again.
