Nice try, but when Kennedy was in office, the death count was far lower than that. Your point is still valid because Democrats are anti Bush not anti war.

Talk about twisting facts. Americans had been dieing in Vietnam since WW2. Learn your history. Vietnam was a problem BEFORE Kennedy and continued to be a problem AFTER Kennedy.
The differences: We were there at the BEHEST of the LEGIT Vietnam government. Iraq we invaded on faulty and erroneous intel. Even after learning that the intel was wrong, BushCo STILL pushed on with the invasion. Bush NEVER finished the job in Afghanistan. AQ and the Taliban have effectively resumed control of 1/3 of Afghanistan. AQ was never in Iraq until AFTER we invaded.

No, because I seldom if ever see anyone reference Kennedy when talking about Bush. My problems with Bush are because of what he has done. Not because I think he compares positively or negatively with another president.
BTW, Kennedy may have sent in the first troops to Vietnam but there were only about 15,000 troops there when he died. Johnson eventually pushed that number up to over half a million.
