does anyone know who david melendez is from starlite dance studio!!??

Yes he is from Starlite Dance Studio. I believe that he put it up... one in New York and another one in Florida. I am not sure what will happen to these studio since David Melendez passed away last week.

Yes, he was a pretty important person in the New York Salsa community and promoted a lot of Salsa Congresses in the states and abroad. He recently passed away (Feb 8th). Here is a website with more information http://www.davidmelendez.com/
