They cant take action. If they have a serious military incursion against Iran the middle east could use that as a reason to gang up on them. When they bomb the countries near them it causes local problems and the middle east is used to that kind of thing. With significant military action against Iran who thus far hasnt done anything but talk and sell some guns that could be used as an excuse to gang up on Israel. We are a Zionist nation and we protect Israel to the death.

Israel is actually VERY happy to help the US in many of our endeavors, however the US usually tells Israel to take a sideline seat because if Israel gets too involved in middle east actions, it would CERTAINLY inflame the entire middle east, causing worse consequences.
Just look at what happened at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem 2 days ago. Israel came to the Temple Mount to repair a ramp damaged from an earthquake and snowstorm in 2005. It incited riots against the Israeli construction workers because the extremists were just looking for another reason to attack Israel.
So, Israel does something we all wish the rest of the world would do. Israel shows restraint even in the face of attacks.
This is why Israel didn't fire back at Iraq during the first Gulf War, even though Israel was getting hit left and right from scuds.
...and it's not THEIR problem in the middle east. It's the world's problems in the middle east. We ALL have a stake in a more peaceful world.

Israel has it's own timetable regarding Iran. If that time comes and goes and the US hasn't already done something about Iran, then Israel will.
Israel's survival for the last fifty eight years isn't because they waited around for the US to respond. If that were the case, they would be long gone. Israel has it's own decision makers, it's own military complex, and it's own agenda, and it will respond to the Iran crises based on what is good for Israel!

Israel cannot afford to sit on the sidelines as Iran's President has indicated that Israel is in his gun sights.
Iran claims the Holocaust never happened, they also claim to wipe Israel from the map. I think Israel will do whatever it takes to protect itself just like when they bombed the Nuclear facility Saddam was building in Iraq.

Just the the US has taken care of IRAQ? or AFGHANISTAN.
I think that's the kind of care the rest of the world doesn't need...
BTW, you talk about it like it's a foot infection! It's war, people are dying, and troops getting sent home in body bags at a appalling rate.

If Iran is foolish enough to attack Israel then rest assured Israel will defend itself regardless the USA's reaction...

It's still too early to call whether we will attack Iran, but if we do, I doubt Israel will help very much. They'll most likely send a couple of troops or resources.
