How do we know that the Bible is not his master stroke of genius? Wouldn't it be the ultimate deception for an evil being to place the "Good Book" in our hands and call it God's word?

We have been dating for the last 3 weeks and since day one I have heard from him everyday. We spent a great night togehther on Thursday and I havent heard from him since. I dont know what to do. should I call him? if so what do i say? I am abit upset/hurt. Should I just wait to hear from him?

I love this girl, humble, loving, caring, but not from a good family background.
My parents who understand a lot of things favour me, but to a certain extent. They get a little upset when they look at my choice of the girl along with her family. Unfortunately majority of eastern culture still value family, since they say it is not the husband and wife but also the parents as well as the other family members.
I m the only child where my parents get more careful in my choice of marriage. The girl is also the only child of her parents.
The girl does not have a very attractive appearance, which certainly put off my parents when they saw her, apart from this the girl has not studied much to which i told her to further complete the studies, as i will provide her complete support and help on this. She has not done this yet and this is again putting my parents off.
now only thing attached is love. considering my parents who r very old and i love them a lot too!

i understand hate crimes in a sense if the person did the crime because of the race of the other person, but i believe it is an over-used idea because the minorities have been fighting for equality, but they still get special treatment with these crimes, even when there is no proof that the crime was because of their race.

My mom died 16 days ago. I was with her, I watched her die, I wanted to be there with her, I spent the night with her, I talked to her (even though she was unresponsive), I told her I was there with her and I said my goodbyes. She died of cancer. My question is... why am I getting more upset now than right after she died? I cried and all after she died but now I think of her all the time, I'm on the edge of tears, I don't know what's going on. One minute I'm ok, next minute I'm crying and next minute I'm mad as hell. I have a husband and a 11 year old daughter I try to tell them why I'm like this but I don't really know myself (they are there for me I'd be lost without them). What do I do? what's going on with me?

I recently asked a question stating that ADHD is overly diagnosed and could be just made up, people who answered were comparing ADHD to alzheimers and autism. Are these anywhere comparable, considering ADHD is a disorder and autism and alzheimers are diseases.

AHH, i'm so confused. This guy, who I used to hang out with, NEVER calls. I ask him if he wants to hang out, but he seems always busy, like he has no time. I try to IM him everyday, he talks but if I don't IM, he doesn't really IM me. I feel like I have to force a conversation, but when I see him in real life, I know that he has the same feelings as me- I can tell that he likes me bcause he payes more attention to me than any one else I am hanging out with. I think about him a lot, but I'm just starting to feel like I'm disappointing myself. I mean, he's attractive, but maybe when he's with his other girl friends, he flirts with them.. I don't know if I should give up; it's hard to not think about him because I was close with him a year ago.

I feel that there is no difference between Mr. Bush & Osama Bin Laden. The president has a revenge attitude after 9/11 and killed (still killing and planning to kill Iranian people) millions of people in response to 9/11 attacks and still he is not over after so much misery, blood shed, chaos. on the other hand, osama bin laden carried out killings of americans and their interest for their political supremacy, by force and occupation of oil resourceful lands of the arabs. i don't see any moral difference, in fact, bush will get more punishment for his crimes comparing to osama because of the casualties are more comparing to his counterpart if God comes to save the world from terrorists and political leaders because both have taken the law into their own hands for their own aims and witnesses(the dead and the alive) will also suggests more punishment for Bush
