i just saw "meet your meat" on goveg.com i am already a vegetarian but i want to become a vegan because i saw how dairy cows and raccoon dogs are treated for dairy and coats like that. but my parents will not approve. but i know that they cant force me to eat certain things. so i guess what im trying to ask is , should i go from a vegetarian to a vegan. and how can i get my parents to respect my decision

This is a serious question. I've recently adopted a small Cambodian boy - like Angelina Jolie's son Maddox - he's so sweet!! But my problem is this: Madonna has just adopted a small Malawian boy and well, I'm a much bigger fan of Madonna than I ever was of Angelina Jolie. But I don't want to have two kids around, can I take the Asian kid back and exchange it for an African kid? Or is that "not done"? I've only had the Cambodian kid for a few months - I'm sure he won't really mind. Also will I have to pay something extra? I dunno which is more expensive - Cambodian or Malawian? If Malawian is cheaper will I be able to claim money back?

I was a CNA for 8 years before getting my nursing degree. I now work as a night shift charge nurse over 4 CNA's. I like the girls I work with and want us all to get along so we don't hate coming to work everynight, I am just afraid that being too friendly will allow them to take advantage of me. I have never been in a supervisory position before and would really like some advise on this. I know how hard their job is, I did it for years and I also know that if the aids don't not like their charge nurse they can make their job hell.I guess my question is where do I draw the line. I was always taught to respect my elders and one of them is alot older than me and I feel a little awkward telling her what needs to be done. One is still a teenager and the other 2 are 28 same age as me, I even grew up and went to school with one. I worked very hard for this and I want to be a fair boss not someone that everyone whispers about behind their back. Help?

I know that a lot of people have trouble at their first school dance, so I'm not as embarrassed. All i'm hearing is to dance at a school dance, just go out and have fun and don't care what others think. But there's a problem. I'm going to be with a girl that I really want back. somebody,who i hit ,i was tried while under the influence of alcohol and prescribed drugs=Restraining order,I became ill and went to ask her for some help in getting back to the UK.i was not threatning in any way she got me a ticket and then rang the police to say i have Broken the order.six and a half months into a seven months order.I had to leave Spain or face going to prison.She has my Kids,Business,Belongings,Money,Cars.etc.I am now homeless .And am signing on.I have been told that their is a chance i could get that court order overthrown,As i was not fit at the time to go to court etc.and maybe it contrevened my Human rights.Is this right?But i cant go to Spain for fear of being arrested.I ring up to speak to my Kids but she wont answer,I have left messages and text`s begging to speak to them.Please HELP me I dont know what i can do.

As foul weather friends are basically the friends that are always jealous of you ... and hate it when you are doing well, but always there to ''comfort you'' in a disaster or crisis... in their smug manner...

I find them to be exspensive and mostly unhelpful when I need something for my TT Roadster.

My neighourhood was swarmed with stray cats lately. Some are them are obviously sick and has open wounds (from fights probably) and posed a health risk to humans. The local animal control agency was called to resolve the problem. They did a good job in catching many of the cats and putting them to sleep in a humane way. However when cat lovers found out, they made a hue and cry in the media, calling for such actions to be stopped. So what do you think, humans or animals (cats in this case) are more important? How can we co-exist ?

for EXAMPLE if i get pregnant & the doc says there is over 98%chance that my baby and me will DIE due to health complications,
& my doc gives me option for abortion - why would it be your business? (and NO im NOT referring to abortion for birth control, im referring to a life/death situation)
who are YOU to judge me and my life&look through my medical records? would you want ME or any other stranger to look through YOUR medical records and dictate what you should or shouldnt in this time of MEDICAL crisis. Abortion is a MEDICAL ISSUE.
don't you think i as a person am capable enough to make my own decisions regarding this matter?
abortion is a medical issue between ME & my doctor. who are you to take away my choice? who are you to look through my medical records? my reason for abortion would be none of your business, cause it would entitle you to look through my medical records. do you want me or strangers looking thru medical records and deciding what procedures to have on you
