this boy i went out was bit too perfect he did eveything so neat and was a control freak kept tellin me what to do he was gettin on my nerves so much i was about to lose it ! never again will ever go out wit someone like that again.

my boyfriend was perfect untill last summer when he started to let me down on little things then he started promising things that he wont ever do.
im dumping next week after 3 years coz im sick of his empty promises.

See, that's not a perfect boyfriend. He told you what to do and was too neat.
The only perfect boyfriend is whoever is perfect for YOU. I think everyone's idea of perfect is different.
I had a boyfriend that was pretty close to perfect, recently. He told me I was beautiful (and he was serious, and I could see that), he always appreciated me, kissed me goodbye, held me in his arms, stopped whatever he was doing whenever I called him upset and listened to me cry... he's an amazing person. Unfortunately, things didn't work out, but I still really care about him and miss him terribly.

well there is a guy perfect for you somewhere. Trust me you'll find someone in your life, even if it's not right now.
There will be someone out there for him too (your old bf) but even if it's not you. Don't feel bad that you had to dump him cause he will find his perfect match someday just like you will.

OK the way you describe him, he sounds less like a perfect boyfriend than a perfectionist, which are 2 different things. there's no pleasing someone like that. I wouldn't want to be around him, much less date him.
