Can I take a child back after I've adopted it?

Question

This is a serious question. I've recently adopted a small Cambodian boy - like Angelina Jolie's son Maddox - he's so sweet!! But my problem is this: Madonna has just adopted a small Malawian boy and well, I'm a much bigger fan of Madonna than I ever was of Angelina Jolie. But I don't want to have two kids around, can I take the Asian kid back and exchange it for an African kid? Or is that "not done"? I've only had the Cambodian kid for a few months - I'm sure he won't really mind. Also will I have to pay something extra? I dunno which is more expensive - Cambodian or Malawian? If Malawian is cheaper will I be able to claim money back?

first off if u r basing ur decision on some sort of "star" then u have some serious problems. YOU chose to go to another country and literally save a child from despair and hunger and now u just want to dump him back because u like Madonna better then Angelina Jolie? if u do take that child back the answer is YES he will care. there is a reason that he was in foster care and looking to be adopted. he needed a home. and he has probably been passed around his entire life and now that u have u r just going to return him like an item at Wal-Mart? it isnt like he is defected and u want a new one. he is a person who just wants to be loved and if u take him back then u r showing him that nobody loves him. it will make it so much harder for anyone to ever adopt him because he will never trust anyone again. it would be very traumatic and disturbing for the child. and who cares about getting ur maney back? i know how expensive it is to adopt especially out of the country. if u spent the money the first time.. then who cares just go and get the Malawian child. sounds like u have some real messed up reasons for returning this child and getting another one. u r doing it for a star and who she has adopted and for the money. if u were that worried about it maybe u should of done ur research better and gotten the child u really wanted instead of adopting one and then throwing it back when u got bored with him.

Sure take the child back like hes a defect and not working for you . Adopting a child is not like going shopping for cloths and picking the best that looks good on you and you bring what ever it is home and your friend has got a better shirt so you return your shirt to the store for the same shirt she has. Lady this child is yours now you adopted him you should keep him how is it going to make him feel if you take him back to the adoption agency or foster home. He will feel likes hes not wanted or love way to go maybe you should think of this child feelings first before yours. Mothers do not send a child back adopted or there own because they want a better child. That is just wrong what ever agency let you adopt this child did not look at your back ground.

Seriously you shouldnt adopt any child. You cant just take a kid back, its not a piece of furniture that you can exchange when something better comes along. Im just in shock that anyone would even consider this an option. This a childs life you are talking about. Get some help!

Are you a Jessica Simpson fan? Did you hear that she wants to adopt an African baby too? Her country of choice may be cheaper than Cambodia and Malawai. So hold off on returning your Cambodian son, you may get a better deal copying off of Jessica. :)

The thing to do here is collect a full set of foreign infants.

You should also look in to having a baby yourself, but only if you can find a Scientologist father.

sounds to me like you don't really want a child you just follow the fashion. this is so sick when theres a child involved. i think you shouldn't be allowed to have a child and quite frankly you should be reported to child services for even considering 'swapping' a child to follow an idol. what an idiot!!!!!!!!
