Soil needs worms, slugs, snails, rodents, and weathering in order to mix the soil. Soil is a combination of decayed organic matter and minerals.
The minerals could come from rocks that were created under the "Earth" category, but what about the decayed organic matter?
If God made the earth before he made plants, and made plants before he made animals (slugs, snails, worms, rodents, etc) how did the soil sustain life? Any gardner will confirm that these living organisms are necessary to make the soil fertile.
