That's a mystery to me too. The "big bang" model of the universe says that the whole universe exploded from a concentrated point source in time. So you'd think that the location of the big bang would be the center of the universe and that the outer reaches of the expansion would be its edge. But the scientists seem to be saying that there is no center or edge to the universe. I wonder if Einstein could explain this to us?

Yes, Nicolas of Cusa said of the infinite universe, "The universe is a circle whose center is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere." I've always thought that that meant that I am the center of the universe and so is everyother living thing.

God is in the center... its all about Him... not about you

and actualy... the universe probably has a finite edge with earth near the physical center... this has implication for some theories such as starlight and time where gravity will run slower in the center and speed up toward the edge

In what way are the only person who is at the same distance from the end as from the beginning?

Do you also think you are the middlepoint of the planet?

If so, consult a psychiatrist - if not, then I agree fully, we are somewhere in the middle of time.

Good question! I would have to say that you will have to fight for that title because my husband thinks he is the center.

Big "if" . . . but the answer is yes. Every point in an infinite extension has equal claim to centrality.
