If so do you cook it longer or hotter than a metal pan?

Yes it is OK. The general rule with glass versus metal is to lower the oven temp 25 degrees for glass. I do it all the time.

I'm assuming you're baking a 9 X 13 or other non layered type cake pan? If you're using a cake mix, the instructions will tell you if you need to change any of the baking temp. or time, if nothing is listed then bake as usual! I have lots of recipes from family and friends and there's no difference in their instructions when using a glass vs. metal pan. I interchange and it all turns out the same!

Normally you bake cake at 350 degrees, if you cook in a glass 'pan' turn down the heat about 25 degrees

Yes you can cook oin glass pans. As long as they are pyrex or other heat proof material. it will say on bottom of pan if it is heat proof.
No different cooking times for glass.

Yes it's fine. You generally cook it at a lower temp than metal ones......i think about 25 degrees less. Same time though.

as long at it is an oven safe pyrex pan - yes your recipie should say something about a nonstick metal pan baking a shorter time.
