Someone once told me that all it entails is essay writing. That's what you're graded on. F.Y.I. i'm interested in a master in public health. My gpa <2.5. I plan on studying hard for the gre and taking a 5 course certificate program in public health at the same school before I apply to th e masters program. Also, are there any tutors there just in case. Please any suggestions anyone. Thanks a lot.

That question is FAR too general. I mean, think about the breadth that you're asking one to cover here and provide definite answers on! Business, literature, engineering, good schools, bad schools, tough schools, easy schools, professors who like papers, professors who like tests, professors who don't care. Every grad school is different depending on the subject and the professors in question. How can you hope to make any sort of generalization about ALL of them??
