well see i have a friend whos skinny and he wants to get fat, but we've tried evrything like he eats 7 times a day and he has not gained one pound. his dad is skinny also,so were wondering if its genetic.but we would like to know if their are any one out there tht can help us try to make him fat.

Recently, I heard a news report that some state legislators are trying to pass bills that would allow pharmacist to refuse to sell birth control for religious or ethical reasons. Religiously devout people said that the pills prevent conception from taking place and it is a bad thing because couples should always be open to the possibility of conception. IIt is a stupid idea b/c you have to ban other things that prevent conception like condoms, sponges and diaphragms and tubal ligations and vasectomies. What about infertile couples? Should we ban them from marriage because they cannot have children? Let's just say that they pass a birth control ban in a state and women can not use any type of artificial birth control. Are women going to be sucessful with more natural ways to prevent or start pregnancies like the rhythm method.
Besides procreation, sex is to unite the couples souls and for hem to become one body. Certain methods work better for some people. What do you girls think?

I love to record my own songs on the computer and I want to give my voice that neat effect so obvious in commercial tracks. Is there any free software out there that more or less fits that purpose. I have downloaded some voice editing programs but all they do is let you alter pitch and add or remove echo. What feature is used to enhance one's voice? Is it a combination of some other simple ones?

Should we stop wasting our time in trying to find a meaning to life? The bad things that can happen to a person in her lifetime is enormous & varied & we have no control of it. Why analyse life at all? Instead ,on the days when you have met life's challenges just be grateful that it wasn't worse.

My dog was diagnosed with hip dysphlasia a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately it is in both hips. We were given meds and special food for him (helps loose weight) and they are costing $300/month. Yes, i know it is a lot, but i will do anything for my horses and dog.
We got him from the SPCA and we/they think that he is a lab/shephard/bernese mnt dog.
He is now beginning to have difficulties even sitting down and getting up. He also sometimes yelps and cant walk on his right leg, as it is worse than the left. We cant even let him go off-leash at a off-leash park for 15mins or else he will be in excrusiating pain. and we have tried so many meds for this but none seem to help.
The most scariest thing off all thought is that he is not even 2yrs. He is 1yr and 9mths!!
Any sujestions or what our next step should be? I dont want to see him always being like this, in all this pain.

P.S. the hip surgery is out of the question- it wastes the puppy years, as the docs say.

I am shocked all the time I thought my bf didnt want to leave home and out of nowhere he says he wants us to get a place. But the problem is I dont think I will be able to take care of myself knowing how much I would really love to( I dont have a job at the moment). I just feel like my life aint going anywhere and now I realize I can't do anything and now he wants us to get a place. I dont know what to do (I try to get any job but noone will hire me, I have no exp- and I am not using that as excuse. I am trying to get into some program since I cant get a job). It sounds like music to my ears but it sounds impossible to me ( easier said then done).
I also feel that if I wanted to get my own place that I would be alone because I turn from people quickly, and I feel my feelings turning from him. When I am with him I sometimes feel nothing, like empty inside. Who am I kidding my life is empty- like nothing to live for right now, but what do you think I shuld do?????

my wife needs a root canal. Our insurance doesn't cover it. We have two options.
1. Put it on the dentist's credit plan. $2000, no interest for 18 months.
2. Put it on our credit card. 13% APR and pay $1500. i need help figuring which would save us more money.
We'll probably pay about $150 /month which ever option we choose. Please help me figure this out. Her appointment if on Monday the 12th. Thanks.

Okay, first off, I know I ended a question in a preposition, but it's the American way. At any rate, I heard there was a judge on the American Idol Show who called a man, who was trying out for the show, a "bush baby". To me this kind of thing is not only not funny but downright wrong. To make fun of something people have no control over is stupid and absolutely ignorant. I may be sexist, but I don't call people names.

He is on a Fire Department and has made a group of friends (couples) alot of whom are younger than us by 10 years. I do like them, but at the same time, they aren't nice to me all the time. They go out to the bar often and he wants to go every time. I am in Nursing classes and have alot of homework but he says he still wants me to be with him and them. I am greatful that he wants me to come with, but I shouldn't have to go everytime they want to go out and he complains that he should still go even though I don't. When I am around them, they tease me and used to take turns pulling my shirt up until I said something. Now, if I say no and yet still want my husband to stay home, he gets mad at me and says he doesn't want to lose his friends. They also get mad at me and have called to yell at me a few times, even saying why don't I let him go out even if I don't? We are starting to see a marriage counselor soon and we fight alot about this. How can I get him to understand me?

I am 36 weeks pregnant with my fourth child. With the delivery of my other children I felt overwhelmed by "company". I was talking to my husband about it and would like for this to be a somewhat private moment between us but don't know how to tell my mother. She was present at 2 out of 3 of my other deliveries.
