This seems interesting. First have you ever been waiting to discover it? if so then bypass to Symantec's website and do a seek for it there. it is going to inform you the thank you to do away with it. in case you haven't any longer pointed out it then i see 2 ideas. a million is to get expert virus removing executed or 2 format all drives with the appliance application out of your no longer worry-free disc producer(s). you're saying you probably did a format and it continues to be there. Did you do a distructive format or residing house windows restoration? A distructive format will wipe the force of each and everything and it rather is maximum suitable executed useing the above pronounced application. on condition that maximum viruses choose residing house windows to function the appliance could be working superb after your laptop's BIOS and CMOS end. residing house windows Non-distructive restoration purely replaces the broken residing house windows report. Backup you records, get carry of the appliance, follow the learning supplied for the appliance and reinstall your OS. when you get your laptop as much as date and your Antivirus application completely as much as date test the disc with your subsidized up records for an endemic. you are able to reproduction archives that are no longer contaminated back on your laptop and then harm that disc. If the virus continues to be cutting-edge then it in all probability is residing the two on your CMOS Flash or on your grasp Boot checklist of the no longer worry-free disk. the two case there is not any restoration that i be attentive to of without expert help. wish that helps

Get rid of Norton and go to http://www.avast.com and do a Virus Scan on their homepage. If it finds anything you can get rid of it there. AFTER you do that, download their FREE Program and Reboot. Go to Add/Remove Programs Uninstall Norton and Reboot. Start back up and INSTALL Avast and you will be OK. Avast scans in Real Time and is a great program i have used for many years. I also install it on ALL my friends computers and they have NEVER had any problems. if you need more help please let me know.

Often times these items cannot be deleted because they are in use in normal windows mode. Try running norton in "safe mode" and see if this removes the remaining infected items. Otherwise, I would run an online virus scanner called housecall to see if it will remove the remaining infections.

(2) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot do that now .Update it and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans
(3a) Do an online virus scan to check if you still have any other viruses in your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware .
