1. No. I wasn't because she becoming popular now and they probably thought that she would become more popular with kids as her fans. 2.Yeah they did. But I was like Nick what happened to the fro but he still looked hot and so did his brothers. 3. I know. When JB won she didn't look that happy. It was funny. Also when they zoomed to AJ, she just smiled. She didn't seem happy either. 4. I thought it was okay but not really a fan. 5. Yeah. I thought he was. I like the first part because he was reunited with Miranda Cosgrove. They were in School of Rock together. 6. Since they are friends, I guess they would say she did great. 7. Funniest is when Josh said he acceptance speech for best show Drake and Josh. The best was JB winning. The worst is...

Anyone who says that they never make fun of people is lying, plain and simple. People do it all the time. Yes, sometimes it is entertaining. Yes, sometimes it is mean spirited. Yes, sometimes people take it too far. I think there are many different reasons why people make fun of others; entertainment is only one of them. Some people have low self-esteem and it makes them feel better about themselves to belittle others. Some people use it as a way to bond with each other. Society uses it as a way to establish what is "normal". To make fun of something people have no control over is stupid. People have no control over what sex they are born. There are infinite things you can say to hurt (make fun of) someone that don't involve "calling them a name".

I don't think insulting people is entertaining. The judges in American Idol who just insult people for no reason (especially when it has to do with their looks, weight, etc... things that have nothing to do with the purpose of the show, which is signing) are just being bullies. I find it funny how they tell children to fight and rise up against bullying and they show TVshows that are find their "entertainement" in that same field.

No but if your mainly referring to AI most people were outraged by his (Simon) remarks. I personally don't watch the show but seeing how many viewers made their disgust known is telling that most people find it in poor taste. And not to seem rude but a sexist is a person who discriminates against a person due to their gender-- generally a female being objectified . I think maybe you meant that your not mean spirited or hateful. Take care

I agree with you. It's cruel and igorant to ridicule others. As
for American Idol. I think they do this in hopes of boosting their
ratings. I bet their mean spirited remarks have caused a lot of
pain and ongoing anguish for a lot of people. Not cool!

People that make fun of other people are cruel and insensitive and need a good smack in the head. If you laugh at someone making fun of someone else, that's just as bad.
It's a good thing there's such a thing as "Karma".
Why are you sexist? What good is that???

Not if it's in a mean way. If you know the person well and it's just good-natured kidding and the person isn't offended then it can be fun. My friends and I tease and make fun of each other all the time and we just laugh.

It is not entertaining to me, but a lot of people today seem to think that it is. I don't know what's with people today. Also, as far as being sexist, one man's sexist is another man's traditional.

Well, I have to admit, I'm very bad about making fun of people. But I swear they deserve it. I saw a man in the mall digging for gold in his underwear in front of God and everybody. It was so funny and so gross I couldn't help but laughing with my mom.
