Honestly, thats a hard call... When we do veneers, we only shave a very little amount down, from the front of the tooth. It's very important to have a good deal of tooth structure left, in order to maintain stability. A veneer is a very thin covering over the tooth.

My personal opinion... skip the venees, get an All-Porcelain crown placed instead. It's much more stable.

I´ll say 50% of the tooth structure, maybe a little more
