I got a brand-new XBOX premium system that has the 20 GB hard drive but I just set it up and it says 10 GB are already full. Can someone explain? Is it because I inserted a game? I just bought it and haven't saved anything on the system yet.

It's a 15 minute procedure that doesn't use general anesthesia. Is there any actual reason that I need to avoid food and water for 8 hours?

"Comp time" is earned within a year, which is divided into 10 time periods; However, if the "comp time" earned within a specific time period is not used within the subsequent 10 time periods from which it was earned, the balance of "comp time" earned 10 time periods ago will be lost or subtracted from the total balance.

E.g. 10 hours is earned on day 1 of the 1st time period. 5 hours is used during time period 5 leaving a balance of 5. Another 10 hours is earned during time period 7 . New balance = 15. At the end of the 10th time period the remaining 5 hours earned on day 1 is lost leaving a balance of 10 hours.

I would like to be able to track hours earned during any time period and know what the balance is at any time and have the program automatically delete unused hours from the balance at the appropriate time.

Any ideas?

I think my arms are too muscular, I'm 21 yrs old and my arms have always been muscular for the longest time. I just want to tone them down a little, because when I wear tank tops, I think my biceps are too defined and I dont know why because I dont do exercises targeting that area, but I guess due to daily activity I give my arms a good workout. From a young age, I've always had muscular "cuts" on my biceps and I just want to tone my arms down to give it a more feminine look. What do you suggest?

I know this was something my ex-wife would get bent out of shape about. She would even go to the extent of saying she was going to the bathroom and then tracking down the waiter.

I manage a movie theatre and I see it all the time when the girl wants to pay and the guy all but shoves her out of the way. Sometimes it kind of funny to watch, but I usually think to myself that these guys need to learn a thing.

I mean even on the history and economic and health forums where all the "intellectuals " hang out, you cannot ask an intelligent serious question without just pure hatefulness and if not that then just childish smart remarks. I dont understand what people get out of this. do they just go all day and when they get home release all their anger on this forum for everybody they hate in the world? Is it like road rage on the computer or something?

I'm no English major, but it seems to me the only way I would be able to deny anything was if their were proof of its existence(rather than proof against it), or something tangible appeared proving the truth.

I have read the Bible from cover to cover, along with the texts of other major religions, and I can honestly say it holds no creedance over any of them in terms of logic or proving itself authentic.

Hey people, I'm a tolerant guy, I don't care what you worship, and you won't see me soon going around telling people they are denying my beliefs for not thinking the way I do. Respecting people can go a long way for how they view you, you know?

As we started beliving more in god, we will start of thinking that without his permission nothing will happen. so as the drama set is going on as per his opinion then what else is there for us to do, and if we do also then it is only by his consent. thinking this i have become lazy .

Ok, so this very cute girl that I would love to date just broke up with her boyfriend. We have been talking for a while now, and we like each other. We always laugh and have a good time. I found out that she broke up with him by checking Facebook five minutes ago. What would the next step be? She's in my english class, so I will see her tomorrow and friday. It would be awesome to hang out with her this weekend. I saw her at a party last weekend and she even gave me a nickname, and posted a facebook comment saying "I love you" the day after.

I have seen people in Y! Answers present the fact that there are different 'races' of humans as being somehow at odds with evolution theory. The conclusions have usually been quite vague, and I hope those of you who have made this connection to clarify it a little more.

I actually see these different characteristics as strengthening the evolution argument; in that they would suggest that human bodies have physically adapted to better suit their environments.

For instance, native people in Africa, Australia (i.e desert cultures) have extremely dark skin which does not burn where fair skin would. East Asian Siberian/Native North American people (a natural land bridge once connected Russia and Alaska), have narrow eyes where intense light reflecting off snowy expanses would cause others to squint. In northern europe people have fair skin where sunburn is not a threat, and long straight hair which is warmer than the short curly hair Africans and Australians have which is cooler.

I recently saw the NOVA special on string theory. It left me pondering for the better part of the day. The program stated that there is a concentration of effort in using the atom-smashers to produce gravitons, in an attempt to document an "escaping" graviton which would provide proof of the theory. My question is if gravitons are detectable in the first place, wouldn't it be easier to find naturally occurring gravitons passing into or even through our brane, instead of trying to manufacture them? It seems to me that black holes would be better named "graviton stars," since according to what I understand of string theory, a graviton would be the only thing able to "escape" from the singularity. A black hole is, after all, a stellar sized atom smasher, so theoretically wouldn't they be radiating loads of gravitons? Even if all the gravitons are forced to exit our brane, wouldn't there be similar phenomena in parallel universes that would dump gravitons into our brane? Curious.
