I'm no English major, but it seems to me the only way I would be able to deny anything was if their were proof of its existence(rather than proof against it), or something tangible appeared proving the truth.
I have read the Bible from cover to cover, along with the texts of other major religions, and I can honestly say it holds no creedance over any of them in terms of logic or proving itself authentic.
Hey people, I'm a tolerant guy, I don't care what you worship, and you won't see me soon going around telling people they are denying my beliefs for not thinking the way I do. Respecting people can go a long way for how they view you, you know?

No, in order to deny the tooth fairy there would have to be proof of her existance or she would have to show up. You outlined what I was saying, by not believing in the tooth fairy, you aren't exactly denying her are you?
And no, the holy bible has not been proven scientifically. I might not be a English major, but I am a biology major.

Jesus Christ said if you heard His words and did not act upon them, you are like a man who built his house on sand. One day the storm will come and your house will come crashing down. It's your choice.
It is your prerogative to ignore Him; but it is my prerogative to obey Him.

Look at it this way jett; if there wasn't religion what's left? Science. Do you believe science has all the answers to life's problems? The Holy Bible has been proved to be authentic not only historically but scientifically as well. The only problem is that they don't teach creationism in universities or colleges. Jesus Christs claim to be the Son of God shows us authority to speak the things He did concerning the afterlife. This is because He was the only one to defy the laws of physics to back up His claims. All other religions we started by mere people who had some pretty good ideas but couldn't back up their claims. And when they died they stayed dead.

That's fine, really. What you are saying is fine with me.
But may I tell you something, and I don't mean this in a snide way at all. Think of me as someone who respects your opinion, but wants to point something out to you as a friend.
You can say all these things and go away feeling you've made your point and that's the end of it. But there is a time coming, after you die, when God will hold you accountable for one thing: who you said His son was, while you lived on this earth. You can argue points with us, that means nothing. But please consider this: all the arguing in the world will not negate that you will have to face that question about Jesus one day. God, in His word has declared, "it is appointed for man once to die, and then judgment". And what God has said will happen.....will happen.

So in order to deny the existence of the tooth fairy I have to first acknowledge its existence. That does not make a lot of sense to me.
Edit Deny 1 : to declare untrue

I am sure you are a nice person, respectful of others and try to do what is right as you live your life, for which I commend you.
but, behavior and good works has absolutely nothing to do with eternal salvation.
the problem arises with your sinful nature, inherited fron Adam and Eve.
God is without sin. He is perfect.
God cannot and will not allow sin or a sinful nature into Heaven. It would corrupt God's sinless home.
in order to go to Heaven, your sinful nature must be changed by God to make you acceptable.
that is refered to as "being saved" or "being reborn of the Spirit"....being "born again".
Jesus made that very clear when He was here on earth the first time.
Here is what God has to say about the matter. What you do with God's Gift of salvation, accept it or refuse it, will decide your eternal residence.
God does not send anyone to Hell.
everyone makes that choice for themselves.
John 3: The Words of Jesus Christ (God in the flesh)
3. "Verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
4. Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"
5. Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God."
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
16. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18. He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

You are not able to deny or confirm anything you weren't there.
Yes respecting others is very important in this world. Especially if you want that person to listen to you.

They just don't understand what the word 'deny' actually means. Or they're ignoring it. To deny something, you have to acknowledge its existance in the first place. You can't deny something that doesn't exist.

Even the devil has memorized the Bible, and also believe in Jesus as the Son of God, and still hates God.
