Ok, so this very cute girl that I would love to date just broke up with her boyfriend. We have been talking for a while now, and we like each other. We always laugh and have a good time. I found out that she broke up with him by checking Facebook five minutes ago. What would the next step be? She's in my english class, so I will see her tomorrow and friday. It would be awesome to hang out with her this weekend. I saw her at a party last weekend and she even gave me a nickname, and posted a facebook comment saying "I love you" the day after.

Well just to clear this up, the "I love you" comment shouldn't be taken serious...she's just being friendly.

Anyhow, well knowing she just got out of a relationship, she will need time to heal...so I would not suggest you ask her out...because she will say no, I’m sure...But, since she is in your class you have many opportunities to make your move-slowly. I would suggest you approach her. Its good that you two sort of talk so there is no need to introduce yourself like a newbie. Go up to her and start up a conversation (any off topic) like, "hey seen that movie blah yet?" and she'll probably reply with a "no" and so on.... that’s where you twist it around and say, "we should see it Friday?" I'm sure she'll say yes...but don't make it obvious by asking her like, "want to go to the movies?" that’s a bit boring...girls like it when a guy is straight forward & a bit demanding lol...But don't expect too much right off hand, she may not want to just jump into a new relationship because its not easy & maybe she is or may not be in love with her ex...so it'll take time, but at least you can get to know her better and start from scratch...also, after the end of the date, ask her out on another date, and after that date, ask her again at the end of the date for another date and so on until it progresses into a relationship...do not try to kiss her on the first date, be polite because like I said before, she's just coming out of a relationship so it will be hard to trust another man again...Remember, be yourself and just take it slow...and enjoy her company...Good luck :)

what should you do? suck on your thumb while rubbing your head and run around in circles..then she'll be sure to ask you out this weekend. c'mon. open your lips and say hello, what's happening, what are you doing this weekend? isn't the internet great? It has taken social skills back 1000 years.

i dunno, but definetly u dont wanna be a rebound guy. give her a shoulder now and be her friend( but dont get stuck in the FRIENDS ZONE) later when u find the right moment u`ll know it. ceize the moment and tell her what u feel.
