I want to do something original and new (not the usual meals etc) for my fiancée on Valentines day, I’m already planning on cooking her a meal, but I want to do some thing that will make it a special day that she wont forget also its going to be near impossible for me to set anything up until the day itself as I don’t drive (I'm 21 but no licence yet) - I’m not loaded but I’ve got a bit of cash (say £100) Iknow everyone is different but any ideas

Basically I like this guy i work with and I have a feeling he likes me. I want to casually ask him to hang out that way if I am wrong, Its more casual and I can find out more if we hang out outside of work if he wants more than a friendship. Hes shy so I think I need to ask him because he may never ask. Heres a few signs I think he likes me...I catch him staring at me, I've noticed when I walk by and say nothing he'll watch me as I walk away, he stands very close to me whether hes talking to me or someone else in the group, we can talk for hours. I really like him, do you think I should ask him to hang out?

I routinely have "weird" dreams. Last night, I was trying to stop an African tribe from re-awakening an ancient Egyptian god, a kind of gigantic squid-monster. That's just typical for me! What's your strangest dream?

Would you say this bloke is a pervert. My friend confided in me things I have never heard of before and I dont know how to advise her. Her boyf expects sex from her even if he has been horrible and they have fallen out and if she says no he will walk out and sulk get angry. after a recent argument he came back with a pot of nivea and asked for hand treatment if you know what I mean. What is wrong with this guy? no appologises or anything. I dont know what to say to advise her other than leave.

My Niece was admitted to hospital this morning because he has a fever and the light hurt her eyes and she was being sick, we thought meningitis. She has now been released from hospital with her temperature higher than what it was when she was admitted, she was actually sick in front of the doctor yet he has still sent her home and told my sister she has to get her temperature down. He said she has wild fever what is wild fever. Worried Aunt

Psychiatry is more of an art than a science, While I suppose a good psychiatrist could work with the NHS, I suspect that a really good one could get paitients that would pay him.

I am about to graduate from University and have absolutely no idea what I want to do or become- it is quite daunting to be going out in to the real world with no idea of what I should do.

I get really in to something for say a fortnight, really read up on it, then just as soon develop another obsession with something entirely unrelated- this carries on in a never-ending cycle, so please don't say I need to find something new to really interest me!

What can I do to give my life focus? Thanks!

People who follow a religion of their choosing abide by it because they really and truly believe they are doing the right thing (that includes athiests too). Everyone thinks their religion (or non-religion) is right, even though each religion can be very different from the other. We all know the sky is blue, so we don't go to war over that. Religion is a different story, wars have been fought for centuries over religion. Has any religious person (or atheist) ever pondered the matter, and asked themselves 'am I believing/following the wrong thing? Sometimes I ask myself that question and wonder if anyone else did too.

Me and my husband are at wit's end with our pups. We resucued a Border/aussie /bernese mt dog mix when he was just under a year old. He had been adopted out once before, but it wasnt a good fit for the dog. We adopted him, he was shy when we met him, he warmed up quickly to us. We asked if he had issues with other dogs, they said no he was living with up to 10 other dogs at the rescue and he neevr had an issue. He was pretty shy for the first month we had him, then one day our roommate when to pet him while he was laying down and it strattled him and he nipped at her. since then he's been aggressive towards other dogs and kind shy of people. His aggression is horrible now, and seems to be getting worse. he's been in classes and was doing ok, not great he still cant get near a dog, except one. We adopted this other dog, shes still a puppy about 6-7 mons. She is having explosive diaherra, she has to be crated day and night when we cant watch her.she howls at night,we havent slept for2 day

I'm doing a project about Homer for my AP English class.

I need to talk about his writing style, and according to online sources he wrote in Dactylic Hexameter. I've looked at several websites about this, but I just don't seem to understand. I know it's something about feet, unstressed and stressed syllables...but...I have no idea what all that really means and it really is...

Could anyone explain dactylic hexameter to me?

Thanks to anyone who tries.
