Okay, it's my girlfriend's car, it's been UNBELIVEABLY COLD lately, like -20C (-27 with wind chill), that's about -5F or so. Her car revs a little high and has some trouble breaking. This goes away after about 10 minutes or so of driving. She let the car sit idling in the parking lot for 10 minutes or so before driving. I said it was due to the cold temperatures as her fluids' would be much thicker and need more time to warm up to allow for smooth driving. Am I right? If not, why?

Christians: Why do some of you use an odd defintion for the word "truth"?

The word means "conformity to fact or actuality" but many of you use it to mean something like "the information expressed in the bible". Example: The light of Truth will shine on the unbeliever. Why do you do this?

1.why is the sky blue in colour?
2.why does the clouds become dark in colour before rain?

Can a tire rotation reveal the need for an alignment?

My car's alignment was fine (2000 Chrysler Cirrus LX). It was time for an oil change, so I figured I'd get the tires rotated as well. Now my alignment is off--it veers to the right. The mechanic says the rotation revealed the need for the alignment. Is he right, or am I getting ripped off? Thanks in advance!

How can i improve my I.Q?

Before i had children i had a fairly high I.Q and always after new information but since having them and being at home and not working my I.Q has dropped. I read and still test myself in things ( when i get a chance ) I have actually gotten a little upset since finding out ( for some silly reason!!) How can i help myself??? I know not having a great I.Q is everything but i still like learning but for some reason my brain has stopped gathering info!!!

To move or not to move?

My boyfriend asked me to move to NYC with him. I'm told him due to financial reasons I can't move until July. However, I've never been there and it looks like I might not even visit until we go look for apartments. basically I feel really rushed, have been struggling from paycheck to paycheck for awhile now, and july signifies more income in my life. I've started thinking about staying here (michigan) for another year to save up some of the cash I'm getting and basically enjoy life before I move to a strange place. should I go in july or wait, even if it means he might go without me?

Irs Free File ?

I want to file my Federal taxes only (not state). I am 69 years old with an adjusted gross income of less than $52.000. I qualify for many of the IRS recommended "FREE FILE" sites. I have tried 5 of them and after one gets to the end of filling out the forms, they ALL want to charge a fee. What is Free about The Irs FREE File site ? Does anyone know of a truly free site ( for Federal only- not state)
