We have been trying to get pregnant and all the pregnancy test all say take day you should have had your period or the more expensive ones say 5 days before a missed period but since I havnt really missed my period what are the chances of it showing up in a urine test?? I have some symptoms from my first pregnancy ( sickness, not wanting to eat, heartburn, soreness and I feel butterflies in my stomach all day just like when I was pregnant with my daughter) but I have still been having my period which is not uncommon in my family! But it's not a regular period. It starts 1 day, then stops, the starts the next day, ect. Should I go take a blood test at the doctors or go by the results from a urine test?? Thanks in advance!!!!

I have 2 tanks with filters on them a 29 gallon and 120 gallon tank. I know that stores tell you to make sure to change out the sponges about monthly and the carbon and all the other stuff they want to sell us to make them money. I obviously don't trust them completely since there goal is money money money. So my question is how often do you really have to change it? I have heard to just rince out sponges in tank water when doing water changes, but how often for that one and do they have to be replaced or just keep going until they have a little damage then replace? I know that pre-filter is permanent, but what about biomax rings and carbon. How often should they be rinces/washed/changed for best results.

I know I am pretty bad about working on the filters since I can never manage to keep the water off the ground. I have an ancient Fluval 203 and a brand new Fluval FX5 (A huge overkill in my opinion but we couldn't find a different filter that would fit on the rim of the tank.)

We went out on our first date and it was great! we both had a good time. So I decided to ask her for a Valentines day date. She tells me that she already has plans with another guy that she had been seening. I already knew about this guy and I guess when it comes down to it, it's a competition between me and him. But why would she tell me she's not sure yet when i asked her if we were just friends or could there be something more? Is she just dating us both to find out who she likes more? What should I do? A coworker sent me an email that I was too weird for him to be friends with because I was sending him mixed signals. We had been close for awhile and I told him it was best that we ignore each other so I can get over my crush on him since he already has a gf. Anyway during all of this, he suggested that the best way to get over him was to sleep with him. I thought he really wanted me because he kept asking if I wanted to do it. Then he told me that I should do it with someone else since he already has a gf. Of course, I felt hurt ,angry, and embarrassed since I told him things that I wanted him to do to me. A few days later I called him a dog via text since he jerked my feelings around, then I felt bad about it and wrote a letter apologizing to him. This is what provoked him to ignore me for the past month. A few days ago, he looked at me like he wanted to say hello and I emailed him asking him if we could just treat each other like coworkers and say hi. He told me I was too werd.

So Rex choked in the Super Bowl. It wasn't all his fault, but as the leader of the offense that couldn't get a rhythm, he gets lots of responsiblitly. So the question is, would it have been better to take Grossman out and have a better chance with your more experience quarterback who is gonna retire in a couple years at the most, or let your young quarterback take his lumps in what could be a once in a lifetime game in hopes of grooming him into something better.

I'm a widow, live with her at her apartment. A wonderful girl, has a job and takes a postgraduation course in Chemistry. I try to contibute, help and give all my love. But I can't stop being a mom, maybe I shouldn't, but moms are moms. So I agree I try to interfere in her life and control her a bit. She's wonderful, but at 23 still inexperienced and sometimes drives me crazy, coming home late, working too much, going to parties and getting little sleep. Of course since she's an adult I have no formal authority, but still have some psychological one So, some days ago she wanted to go to a party after, I said Oh no hun, you need some sleep or you'll get sleep. She ended up obeying. This was great, but her extremely dynamic life makes me worried, I need a bit more control, I wish I could ground her sometimes, with all my love of course. This is a dangerous age, she's an adult, has a job, makes money, is wonderful but still a bit immature. I dont know if she'll obney if I ground her

I read somewhere that if you want to get a value of n, you need to have log(base2)n.

How is that?
If I need n=8, log(base2)n is 3, so we have 3 positions:
_ _ _

000 = 0
001 = 1
010 = 2
011 = 3
100 = 4
101 = 5
110 = 6
111 = 7

As you can see, we cannot get to 8. You understand what I'm asking?

Or does that log(base2)n is actually BigO[log(base2)n]? So we don't have just 3 positions, but we have C*3 positions.
(note: C is a constant value)

I'm confused. Please help.

I am probably a 5'11 and I play post for my freshman basketball team. I realize that I'm not going to get taller than 6'3. How do Improve my ball handling, shooting, conditioning and drop some weight?
