For me it is, it answered many questions I had. I know there are many things in Islam that people disagree with. Everyone is entitied to their own beliefs though and I accept and respect that.

Yes because.
It has rules against any kind of unfairness.
No color discrimination. No interest is allowed in money transactions. Men and women need to treat each other equally good. It doesnt allow superstition and honors all the holy men that have come before.
Knowledge is obligatory.
Moderacy is the way to go.
No compulsion in religion exists.
No man can come between me and God.
No one may die for my sins or throw his sins on my shoulders.
I am born clean...neutral..unsinful.
Nothing could give me more peace than to know all these.
I thank God everyday for Islam for making my life as peaceful as it is.

Yes. Islam teaches peace. The only reason it gets a bad name is because of these extremist radical groups in the Middle East, who take the Qur'an out of context.
As-Salamu Alaykum - Peace be upon you

Messianic complex is a psychological state in which the individual believes him/herself to be, or is destined to become, the saviour of the particular field, a group, an event, a time period, or in worse case scenario, the world.
People with Messianic Complexes tend to see themselves as saviours to a specific group of people or a specific field, making claims of their own glory, or claiming a self awareness of their own gift and how that gift can affect a group of people or a field of life.
In the worse cases, people with Messianic Complexes may see themselves as spiritual/religious Messiahs with transcendent powers who are destined to save the world.
that describes a mental disorder characterized by impairments in the perception or expression of reality and by significant social or occupational dysfunction. A person experiencing m.c. is typically characterized as demonstrating disorganized thinking, and as experiencing delusions or hallucinations, in particular auditory hallucinations
It is a mental disorder where the "ill" individual's symptoms are either self-induced or falsified by the patient. Essentially, it is faking sick: the act of an individual faking, exaggerating, or even inflicting self injuries. Their state of consciousness in this act falls somewhere between (and involves both) the conscious and unconscious mind. The main reasons why individuals develop this disorder is to resume the status of a "patient." Hence, they win over the attention, nurturance, sympathy, and even leniency that they feel they are unable to obtain any other way. These individuals produce or exaggerate the symptoms of mental or physical illness. They do so by contaminating urine samples, taking hallucinogens, injecting themselves with bacteria to produce infections, and other such similar behavior.

Maybe a little too extreme, but so is Christianity even more so in the spiritual sense. Christians are the best at telling people to go to hell!

No,
It was inspired by heretical teachings.
Muhammad did not even follow his own teachings in regards to number of wives and he had one wive (consummated) who was 9 when he was 53. (She was his favorite) He also married the wife of a relative.
It is a cult set up around the wants of a man, is violent to it's own members.
But the main reason I don't follow Islam is it tries to move us back to old Testament Laws and allows humans to judge the soul of other humans and punishments of death.
We are not to judge the souls of others, that is up to God.
Peace!

yes, definitely, coz it's the only one that actually makes sense.....the Qur'an contains facts that man is figuring out only now.
Islam takes a middle path - those who call it "extremism" seem to have missed the point.......
