I always thought that colds and flus where viral/bacterial in nature so why do people get more colds and flus during winter? Surely, these would be more prolific during the summer months where hot humid weather would help them to survive? What part does the cold weather play in increasing the occurance of these bugs?

Why are people bothered by breastfeeding in public?

Why do people have issues with something that is natural, normal and healthy? Does it seem like people are more comfortable with women dressing in revealing clothes then when women who are more covered, are breastfeeding?

Do you think Peyton Manning deserved the MVP?

He had a decent game, considering the weather factor. I'm sure he called audibles on some of those running plays too.

I think Rhodes, Addai, or even Hayden (TD interception) should have gotten MVP though.

How to make my female friend smile in photos?

Well, her race is Indian, I haven't seen her for 30 months for now. I started know her when we were in Army. She loves to smile, but she don't smile much & never show her teeth in photos. Someday if I fix a date to meet her, I will love to take lots of photos and take a camcorder to video her. Do you think she will smile in photos? Will she show her teeth too? Her teeth is pearly white & straight, like she wore braces before, but she didn't.

Question about Intelligent Design?

Ok, here is my question. A lot of people want this Intelligent Design taught in public school science class.

We are all intelligent enough to know what it is, its essentially a belief that the world is so complex that there has to be a creator, that the DNA in the human is code and code can not create itself, etc. If I have any of this wrong feel free to correct me.

Now, let's suppose we put this in all the science classrooms along with the Theory of Evolution.

With me so far?

Now here is my question, what will happen in one or two generations to America when our Adult population has been raised in with that Education?

Are there any harms?

Would medical researchers stop being good medical researchers?

Would evolutionary biologists stop being evolutionary biologists?

Point is, for those of us who think Intelligent Design is junk science or psuedo science, are we getting worked up over nothing?

what sorts of things can you ask for for compansation on a airline?

My airline double billed me and befor I call and complain I want to think of what I can get for compansation. because of them we went overdrawn in our bank meaning we owe the bank, We have to call long distance to sort this out as well. Anyone know what I kight be able to get apart from a free upgrade?
