Depends on the person. If you bathe before going to bed your sheets will stay clean longer, up to a week. If you perspire heavily you may have to change them daily. Most people do something in between.

Sheets should be changed every week. Little mites get in the bed from your skin and dust and if you don't keep sheets clean you could get bed bugs. Of course where I work we change the sheets on a daily basis. But homes are not hotels. At home I change the sheets one time a week then wash them. It is easier to pull the sheets of your bed and put them directly into your washer, then into your dryer. If you do it right away then you can put the clean sheets, you took off your bed back on. This is what I do.

I work as a Housekeeper at a Quality Inn. We had to sit threw a lecture on why we change sheets and other things we do to clean a hotel room. I included a link about bed bugs, just for information.

Martha Stewart says twice a week, but I think she is insane. I don't crawl into bed covered with mud or reeking of sweat and filth, so I don't feel bad about not changing my sheets for a LONG time. I don't want to say how long. What's the worst that could happen?

Once a week unless they get soiled unexpectedly in between. I usually change all the linens on Saturday morning because that's when I have time set aside for house cleaning and chores.

I wash my sheets once a week. Every Monday to be exact. I always wash them in hot water. You have dead skin cells in your sheets. EWW!!!

I do the laundry on Saturdays so this is one of the things that get changed. I tend to do it a little more in the summer I've noticed they seem to stay cooler with more washings.

Once a week or every 2 weeks depending on your activities.

You should change them when you don't feel clean anymore sleeping in your bed. Everybody is saying 1 week, the daughter of a friend needs everyday to change them so she is allergic to dust and other people change them every month. It's up to you and your sense of hygiene, I guess.

That just depends onthe amount of use they get, if you sleepp on them every night then at least once a week. If you sweat excessively then every other day or so.
