He had a decent game, considering the weather factor. I'm sure he called audibles on some of those running plays too.

I think Rhodes, Addai, or even Hayden (TD interception) should have gotten MVP though.

I agree, Dominic Rhodes got my vote...or even a Rhodes/Addai co MVP. Peyton's performance was consistent...but not stellar, and without the running of Rhodes/Addai they would not have won.

I don't think Payton should've gotten MVP. He was the MVP for the Colts for the year, but not for the SB game. I think it should've gone to Bob Sanders - that guy put his heart out there and it showed. He put out Cedric Benson with a ferocious hit, he plastered Clark and seperated him from the ball, he hit the hole on the run, and covered like a blanket on the pass. He was everywhere on defense and it showed.
Next would be the team of Rhodes and Addai - they showed what you can do with a 1-2 running attack. They carved up the Bears like steak and could've kept going.
Peyton did good for 247 yards, but they were all long bombs and such - not the methodical passing attack we are used to.

tough one. He did have a great game, and he needed the win, but I can see how some would say Rhodes or Addai deserved it more. I would probably have given it to Addai because he helped build up the momentum that carried through the last 3 quarters.

Yeah I think either Rhodes or Addai too, but Peyton was a good leader on the field. It's a tough pick between those three. Aside from them there really weren't any other stand out performances.

No way, a fumble and an interception and only one TD, that isn't MVP stuff. The power running game was the Colts' best offense. 21 carries for 113 yards and a touchdown, Rhodes deserved the MVP.

No way. It should've gone to Domonic Rhodes. It could've gone to Addai if he set the record of most receptions in a Super Bowl. But Peyton won it just because he's Peyton.

I think that the Defense for the Colts deserved the MVP trophy. They played most excellent. They snuffed the Bears and held them to a special teams TD and a lucky one and a FG.

its just like he said when they gave him the trophy. it was a total team effort. he did play very well considering all the rain. Addai/Rhodes could have won, any Colt could have won and i think that's the best thing about the Colts this year. Yea, he deserved it.

Rhodes and Addai did more damage than Peyton. The backs should have shared it.

No. I believe the game was won because of what Dominic Rhodes did for the Colts. Without him stepping up and performing above and beyond expectations the Colts dominated and won.
