A conference centre contains five identical rooms. All of the rooms have square floors. Recently, the floors of the rooms have been painted, and a different pattern has been used for each room. Each room has a certain number of red circles painted on a white background in the patterns that you can see by clicking here.


Room 1 has 9 red circles of equal area painted on a white background
Room 2 has 16 red circles of equal area painted on a white background;
Room 3 has 25 red circles of equal area painted on a white background;
Room 4 has 36 red circles of equal area painted on a white background;
Room 5 has 49 red circles of equal area painted on a white background;

Which room has the largest red-painted area on its floor? If one room has a greater red-painted area than the rest, give the number of that room (between 1 and 5 inclusive) as your answer. If all of the rooms have the same red-painted area, give 0 as your answer.

(You can ignore the black borders in the picture when figuring out the areas.)

The man or woman would be called 'apostate'. And if a man or a woman apostates from Islam, he or she will be given a chance to deny their conversion, say to Christianity. If they deny, that's OK, finished, case closed. If they insist to embrace Christianity, they will be executed, because they would not accept that a Muslim will be converted to Christianity. And that explains, you see, if you go to Saudi Arabia, and anyone, any Muslim in Saudi Arabia who would be converted to Christianity, he will be beheaded. There is no mercy, he will be beheaded. And that is under our eyes, here, in the 21st century, you know. It is the same in any Islamic country. You cannot be converted to Christianity, if you are a Muslim, unless you are ready to risk your life, and to be executed.

I'll try to make a long story short. I have a 95 Pontiac Sunfire GT. Summer before last, it overheated and I had to leave it (8 hours from home) with a mechanic.

The guy was nice - tried to save me money and not do anything that wasn't expensive or questionably necessary. I had some sense that he was trustworthy. He said the tests did not show that my head gasket was blown. He wondered if it might be the water pump but he did change out the coolant and replaced the radiator cap and had gotten it to where it would drive a good ways without overheating. I brought it home in cold weather.

Since then, this is my year: Summers I have to drive it with the heat cranked up full blast, and even then I have to pull over an let it cool if it's real hot out or I'm going more than a dozen or twenty miles. Spring and Fall I still have to run the heat full blast to keep it at least in the low end of the "yellow" on the temp gague. And now this winter, I am finding that the "heat" isn't. cont'd

Last Sat. eve on TV I watched the How sjall we solve a problem like Graham Norton? The dog won it but the little boy was better. The chap who stole the guy's watch was clever and the balloon man slighty funny. The judges were pathetic except for an American showbiz agent who played up to a image of one. But why hasn't anyone said anything about the show in the press or did I just dream I saw it?

About week ago I got in contact with a recruiter to a company I want to work for. He was interested in me for a position that I really want.

I sent him my resume and salary requirements and he said that he will forward the information and have the company call me. (The recruiting office is in Dallas, but the production office is in Los Angeles).

This was a week ago, and I am wondering if I should call back. I've started to get calls from other companies, but this place is the one I really want to work for.

Should I call back and if so what should I say? I really want this job.

If I find a home myself to purchase, I have been told that the 6%(3 each to buyer and seller agent)commission is included in the price of the home but I find it ridiculous that the seller's agent should get more than 3% if I am doing all of the work. Thanks for any help or tips.

When will Liberals realize?
That their socialist political system and utopian, altruistic government worldview is not plausible?

How many failed Socialist and Communist systems do they have to see before they realize a government that takes from the rich and gives to the poor stifles entrepreneurism? Why work hard if you will get support from the nice government?

Why is it so hard for them to realize hard work and responsibility is the true American way, and their way would reduce us to Soviet wanna-bes?
