That means that you can play an MP3 CD. If you burn a CD with some songs you downloaded from the internet you might be able to hold about 15 songs or so. But if you burn the CD as a Data CD or an MP3 CD(Both are the same thing)you could hold about 100 songs.

MP3 playback means it can read CDs that have MP3s on them. Most of the time when you burn a CD, it converts the files from MP3 into a much less compressed format. This is why you can usually only get about 20 songs on a CD. If you burn them as MP3s, you can fit sometimes close to TWO HUNDRED songs on a CD, because its a much higher compression format. WMA is even a further compression, and is also fairly common for CD players to be able to read.

An mp3 cd is a data cd containing mp3s. It can hold over 250. When you burn be sure to select data cd and not audio or music cd.

It can mean a number of things....it could mean that you could burn a CD full of mp3's and play them back on your stereo. It could also mean you could hook up your ipod directly to the stereo (using the correct cables).

Consult the user manual.
