L'Oreal Casting semi-permanent hair colour... how long does it last?

Question

Anyone who's used this colour, approximately how many shampoos did it take for it to come out completely for you?

I know it says approx 28 shampoos on the box but I know that's never quite right so I want to know off people who've actually used it, don't answer otherwise.

Depends on many factors. What condition your hair is in before coloring? The healthier your hair the better it will take and hold. Two, what color you'll use - reds seem to grab on easily but don't hold on very long, the darker browns and of course black last longer but your roots will show within a few weeks of washing. And three, how often you wash your hair. You can expect about 2 weeks if you wash daily and maybe 3-4 if you wash every other day. However, because it is semi-permanent if you hate it you can wash it out pretty easily(well, most of it unless you use black) within the first 48 hours with a lot of shampooing using dandruff shampoo or clariying shampoo. And it's a lot less harmful to your hair as far as damage goes. So overall, it's an ok product you just need to do it more often than with permanent colors.
