And how can I prevent them?

2007-02-03 04:58:27 · 13 answers · asked by Sonya 5 in Hair

I was asking about how to get my fiance to do the things a man should be doing around the house. I got called sexist a ton of times, they said that I could do the things like changing lightbulbs and put air in car tires. Before I was pregnant sure I had no problem doing those things. But while I was pregnant I turned those things over to my fiance because I dont need to be up on a ladder or trying to bend over to put air in a tire while I was pregnant. And now six months post partum I still leave those things to my fiance. So my question is, do you other mothers/wives feel that I am being sexist, and also did your views on who should do what chores around the house change after pregnancy was over.

i have two girls in my life with the same first name, one is a friend and one is a girl i used to like (and somewhat still love) but no longer talk to (she sorta liked me too but it got really complicated). today i meant to call my friend but instead called the other girl upon hearing her voice, i just hung up. i feel worried that she would know its me and think i'm stalking her or something. what should i do?

I'm a 23 year old single man, and I have recently fallen for a 31 year old single mom and her 16 year old daughter. I met the mom at work and I started going out with her before I knew she had a daughter. I went on several dates with her and I had sex with her and I really love her. But then I met her daughter. The daughter is not only gorgeous, she is also funny and intelligent and good-natured, and her mom doesn't mind me dating her. I have not had sex with her yet, because I would not do anything illegal. I'm in love with both of them. I feel that either way I join their family it would be awkward. What should I do?

My little sister just got engaged to this mysterious guy, that I have reason to believe is a compulsive liar (made up having a brain tumor, etc.), avoids letting her meet his parents, and he says his parents won't allow him to live at their house until they get married, but avoids explaining why. There are other things I don't have time to explain as to why I'm nervous about my sister marrying this guy also.
My mom gave me his parent's phone number, and I'm considering calling them, just to demystify this guy. How can I tactifully call out of the blue and ask about their son and what they think of the idea of him getting married?

Having seen this term (phony scam) used in print, it made us wonder if the "two negatives equaled a positive". What do you think?

Hi, just wanted to help out the woman asking about preventing her cat from kneading on her quilt. I completely forgot about the little tips veterinarians and pet catalogs sell for cats claws.
You clip the cats claws, be careful of the "quick" or the cat will bleed, then place the tips on the cat's claws. This will help to prevent damage to your belongings, without causing the cat any undue stress. He will still be able to knead, scratch, etc., without harm.

My father passed away some many years ago, but I could never bring myself to go thru his things.

Last week, I finally got to one of his filing cabinettes. I was shocked at what I found! I knew he was in the Navy, and I new he was at Iwo Jima. But I was completely taken back when I found Top Secret documents.

I found the original and complete Operational Orders for the invasion of Iwo Jima! They cover everything from the point of the Pacific Fleet leaving Saipan to the capture of the island.

It's an incredible document! And here I was just expecting to find an old Playboy!

It makes me wonder... have you ever found anything your parents were hiding from you?

Sometimes, particularly when I'm stressed out, when I go to sleep, even though I'm very tired before falling asleep I start having sort of jerks which wake me up immediately and then I find it difficult to fall asleep again.
What might it be?
