i'm a new cook - i have measurin cup set but 3/4 cup missing. what can i use in its place.

They don't make a 3/4 measuring cup. This is where math comes in handy.
Try using:
three 1/4 cups :
1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 = 3/4
or
1/2 cup plus 1/4 cup :
1/2 + 1/4 = 3/4
When you first start cooking, don't guess at the amount. You will get better results.

use the 1/4 cup 3 times
use 1/2 + 1/4 cup
or try filling the 1 cup 3/4 the way
