Just as an example, "jimnists" don't really worship "jim darwin", its an alternate messianic cult - that is - its an inside joke.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster, thats an alternate atheist theory, its meant to illustrate a point about America's Education policy.

O.K. get this, I have worked for my Brother-n-law as a paralegal for 2 years, I have been devoted and covered his a** for all this time. I am currently pregnant and he is not offering me no paid maternity leave, he will hold my job for me because by FMLA you are required to hold a job up to 12 weeks. I just don't know what to do, I honestly can't be off for 6 weeks unpaid. I'm scared to say anything because it's family, but I really think it so unfair that American woman have no paid maternity leave. Should I say something or not since it's family?

I know she is going to be a big dog but I wasn't sure what size crate to get her. I know they come in different dimensions but wasn't sure if anyone had an idea for me, as I am not too familiar with bloodhounds. Thanks

Not that I'll even be able to, even though I /want/ to, and my dog died last year, March 29th, but I'm just curious...
My dog, Strider had heartworms. The vet said that he had VERY little. So little that it almost didn't show up on the test. He was also young (2 1/2) The vet only gave us ONE option (the series of 3 shots over a few month.) Later, I found out that worms can be treated with Heartguard or even surgically removed. He also gave me some pills for strider. I had to give him one in the am, and one in the pm, everyday. I've never heard of pills going with this treatment. What were they even for? So, then my mom called TWICE within one week saying that Strider was breathing too hard, and the receptionist just said, "That's normal". Strider was breathing WAY too hard, mum told her, but again, she said "it's normal" So, after 2 weeks on treatment, Strider died from suffocation. Could they get sued for this? The vet didn't explain any other options & just said to keep him calm.

We are not all terrorists. In fact, I personally was born and raised in New Jersey and live within seeing distance of where the World Trade Center stood. I too felt like fighting back against those responsible for these attacks against my country. So why are we all getting a bad name for the actions of a few? I don't accuse all Catholics for being responsible for the Crusades.

It was a major weapon against Bush. People would spout that as their #1 reason for choosing Kerry over him. Yet here we are in 07… with no draft. What happened? And where are the people stepping forward to say they were wrong.
Now as a “preemptive strike,” so that liberals can’t say “When do the Republicans step up and say they’re wrong? Well, it’s being done. Slowly but surely, it’s happening. Republicans are saying that maybe we went about this war wrong. That’s fine and dandy. So don’t answer this question with more questions or accusations. I want answers, no slander. Where are all the people who were so terrified of the draft?
