Some conservative folks - not all, mind you, but some - seem so absolutely terrified of even the concept that human activity might be affecting the environment that they are willing to bribe researchers, change scientific reports, censor government documents, and otherwise skew public perception in every way they possibly can.

I'm curious as to why that is.

People in the world have all the necessary things to lead a happy life. Yet there is difference between them. There are thieves, rapists, terrorists which to create a kind of enimity between people and as such, the people lack international feelings...what do we do to stop all these evils and live a peaceful and happy life?

In March 2003 she was still in favor of the war, telling the Code Pink anti-war feminists that she disagrees with them. Even saying that she's been carefully studying Saddam Hussein and the threat he poses for over ten years (so much for her crap now in 2007 that Bush misled her).

My brother is starting a small business and I would like to invest - partly to help fund the venture, partly to (hopefully) reap some rewards if it goes well.

How should I go about making the investment? I'm not worried that he would elope with the money, but I do want some sort of agreement that, should the business start to make money, then I get X amount in return. Can you show me any example contracts (good websites?)?

Are there any tax benefits/implications? This will be under UK law.

I personally don't think I act like my zodiac sign. But here is how I describe myself accurately.

Loyal in friendship ( I would never ever cheat on a parter ), a perfectionist, practical, intellectual, I am quiet at school but loud at home and in front of my closest friends, shy, I don't ever make a move on guys I like because I'm too scared, I am scared of rejection, impatient, I can be evil if I don't get my way, moody, crazy mood swings, independent, polite to strangers, philosphical, cultural, reserved, etc

im 20 and have pretty long medium thickness hair and i dont have any bald patches or anything but everytime i run my hands thr my hair (the back of it i get at around 3 strands at a time i would say i lose at 100 stands if not more a day but it does not come out in clumps im so stressing about this is it normal

Whats a great workout to get abs? Im 15, 175cm(5ft 7inch), 68kg (150lbs). Im bulky or stocky either way you put it im more musclular than fat. I have a 4 pack and on some days I can see the outline of my six pack so I think Im close. How long would I expect to get a defined ab ripple? Also could you reccomend the workout any of you do?

i know it is bad for them and you should never feed your dog chocolate. He stole double chocolate cookies out of my purse. If there were a vote to kick every immigrant and minority out of the U.S. would you support the vote or be against it? I've read some of the answers on the website and it seems that some people feel that a homogenous society (all white) would lead to some kind of utopian paradise without crime or something (it doens't make any sense to me....) I for one would be strongly against such a vote. I believe every race on the planet has something unique to offer to society. What is your take?
