My brother and I had a video game bet where the loser had to sign a contract that stated that the other person was incredibly skilled all supreme ect.


This is my side of the story. Right before I was going to sign the contract I changed a word to make it read "Caleb is not all supreme." I asked him if this was the contract I should sign, and he said yes, so I signed the contract. He realized his mistake, and scribbled out the "not." The contract now reads "Caleb is (not scribbled out) all supreme."


Here is his side of the story,
I was writing the contract in pen, and messed up a word, so I crossed it out. Now 4 hours after he signed the contract he comes to me and says, "You scribbled on the contract after I signed it." This is comepletly not true!!!!!!!!!!


What is the status of this contract in court? Does a new contract need to be writen up or is how it stands now legal? If I had proof that he scribbled out part of this contract what would be the legal standin

At what age did you take your children to the dentist for the first time? And, if anyone knows, how much was it without insurance?

I read that it's advised that the first visit is between 6 months and 2 years, but my dentist won't see children under 3, and the only pediatric dentist in my area doesn't take my out of state insurance.

In the '50's, I spent all my time having to learn to spell correctly, and being grammatically correct - at least to the extent that you can teach a child of 7-10.
But when I see the adverts from multinational companies with basic spelling mistakes, I am horrified. I can cope with the apostrophies being in the wrong place - most people can never get their heads fully round this.
But when BT put out an advert with 'there' instead of 'their' - something I learned at 8 years of age - it makes me wonder what the world is coming to.

To me, something like that is just sloppy and shows they employ people who are just not worried what they churn out.

If the info comes across, today's people are not too worried about spelin. But at the end of the day, does it really matter?
I have listened to arguments that we should preserve the English language. But then again, that is composed of Latin, Greek, French, German, ad nauseum.
What do u rekon?

when i change her diaper she freaks out and cries and tries to get away. she doesnt have a diaper rash so that cant be why. i try to distract her with a toy or music or anything and nothing works. is this just a stage? any suggestions?

It's 11:50... I'm really tired. I was in bed, for probably an hour already. I just laid there. My husband's already asleep and he has an early morning so I got up so I wouldn't wake him from tossing & turning. I'm on the computer cause it makes my eyes tired. I already tried reading. And I don't want to take a sleeping pill, I don't like them. Any suggestions? This happens to me every couple months, I'll go through a couple days where I can't get to sleep or I wake up through out the night. Mostly it's cause I'm thinking about too many things. *Sigh* I'm just frustrated cause I can't get to sleep. :(

How do I fill out the simplified method worksheet to figure out how much of my anuity payment is taxable... I do have the 1099-R which has a taxable amount but according to Turbo Tax, I have to pay more taxes even though I requested that when I pulled the $$ out of the annuity that they take out enough to pay the taxes. well hes 18 ... I'm 17 ... and i ran after him and when i reached him we both fell , i on my shoulder and he on his face..... he gets up and he lost a tooth .... we are cool and all but his parents want me to pay 2500 for the tooth .... even though it was an accident ..... doesn't he have the power to say he doesn't want to make a big deal out of it and we can just settle to pay 50/50 ? or am i screwed and have to pay for everything .....


not a sport there was some sort of fight between him and someone else so i ran after him to find out ( since he normally confides these things with me ) i was shocked to see him running from me to i ran after him to find out what was wrong because he is a close friend .....
